Because its a gimmick league and I traded to the other team I basically drafted in order to shaft a shady commish. I don't give a **** about Ray Rice, I got LeSean McCoy and Fred Jackson and now CJ2k. AJ and Wayne > Fitz and Meach. ****ing commish and bull**** Arian Foster for Mike Wallace. That **** gets vetoed in any competitive league. QB - Newton / Romo RB - Fred Jackson / LeSean McCoy / CJ2k / Beanie Wells WR - Andre Johnson / AJ Green / Reggie Wayne / Julio Jones / Jordy Nelson TE - V Davis / A Hernandez snoogans.
I don't know what the scoring system is, and that's usually a big factor in IDP. But in most Burnett is a top 3 DB, and the ideal tackling/playmaking SS. Weirdly enough, there's no news about his hand in his fantasy profile, and he's listed as probable despite breaking his hand. It definitely raises a flag, because he has gotten a few picks so far, and his tackling may be hindered also. Chung broke his thumb in week 2, and he still hasn't produced like he should be. If you really need the roster space it should be safe to drop him since their bye comes next week, but that means more time to figure out how to salvage his hand. If you only play one DB, then drop him because LaRon will only get healthier and is only 27. But I wouldn't be so confident that you'd be able to reclaim Burnett should you drop him.
Your team looked A LOT better before the blockbuster. You already had depth at every position and quite possibly 3 of the top 5 RBs at this time. Was it for the receiver replacement? I can understand when you're pretty much leaning on Jordy Nelson and a waiver pick up when you're top 3 guys are out or on byes. I'm sure you did the right thing for your team and all considering injuries but on paper you were money with the old squad.
Wanted to pass along a site I just discovered. Be sure to note the ppr/standard league radio button. http://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/rankings/ppr-rb.php
This site brings together many site rankings and you can click on an individual player and see where he is rated the highest and lowest.
So of course this trade was declined. I was countered with the following tho: Give: Michael Turner + Jahvid Best Get: AJ + Ingram If I accept today I don't think it'll go thru till Monday and I play this guy tomorrow but I'd be getting rid of my two beat rushers and left with Bradshaw, Greene, Tolbert, & Ingram. My receivers (once AJ returns) would be instantly bolstered with Fitz and Johnson. Thoughts?
You don't understand how desperate I've been at wide out this year. Here's what I'm working with at the time: Fitz, Cruz, Breaston, Crabtree, Doug Baldwin, & Torrey Smith. In a ppr league.... does that make the trade somewhat justifiable?
I don't know if Josh Freeman is dead to me yet, but he is getting close. I am seriously on the Lance Kendrick gravy train this week. For better or worse, I am letting him loose!
If you had to pick 1 guy, Santana Moss or Fred Davis, who will get the most points against Philly? I just want to say that I can't see myself playing both against philly, it is just not enough catchable balls to go around. I find it hard for me to bench Santan Moss but like Mathew Berry said: It's kind of an odd either/or, I know. But this is really about my flex position.
I got Miles Austin Marques Colston Mario Manningham Brandon Marshall David Nelson. Which 3 should I start?
Would you play Brandon Marshall this week against NYJ/Revis (PPR)? Right now I'm not doing it. I have these 3 in my lineup and no Marshall: Nicks Cruz Jordy I've been reading that Cromartie guards Marshall a lot, but I don't see why you would do that if you're the Jets. Marshall completely destroyed the Jets last year in a Monday night game when Revis was out. The next time they played w/Revis there, he had like 2 catches but he did manage a TD. There's also Matt Moore making his first start to consider. Not sure I want to deal w/all that. Actually pretty sure I don't.
Is Addai servicable going forward(when healthy)? I'm thinking about cutting him for Antonio Gates, but its not like my RBs are that great to be discarding NFL starters. Also, is Gates worth picking up? I know he's been unproductive due to injury, but I didn't think it was serious enough to warrant a drop. Other RBs are Rice, Lynch, Moreno, Starks, and Torain. Pretty bad, I know. Thanks in advance
I did hear, but I don't really see it factoring into what happens in the game. He's not going to get kicked out. Honestly my first thought was that he's scared of Revis and getting kicked out early would take attention away from him getting shut down for an entire game.
Austin, Colston and Nelson. As for Mr. Marshall, tantrum or no tantrum, no way in the world I'm starting him on Revis Island with Matt frigging Moore at QB. The guy is horrible in the endzone to begin with. It might not even be stretch to say that Darrelle Revis has a better chance of scoring a TD than Brandon Marshall does.
