Some of the things he does on the football field seem unfair for the competition. When you can outrun, juke, or flatten a db... It's crazy man, he's a beast in every sense of the word and Al Saunders compares him to Faulk, who when utilized in the right scheme was unstoppable because of his ability to play like a receiver. He can even play a little qb too, remember him destroying LSU back in 2007? I just hope he can stay reasonably healthy
That 07 LSU game was nuts. Weren't there back to back kickoff returns? That's the game the Wildcat was reborn on a national stage. To think Hillis was 3rd string.
Ok, I own Cam Newton and Aaron Rodgers. I have picked the wrong guy every single week up to this point. Week 4. Who do I start?
You always start Aaron Rodgers, unless something is wrong with him. If Cam Newton is burning that big of a hole in your bench then you probably should explore trade options.
Alright, i'm in an 8 mean league. I've currently proposed a trade for Chris Johnson. Mathew Stafford+ Legarette Blount for CJ2K I realize he's had 3 ****ty weeks so far, but I think hes going to break out soon. My first QB I drafted before the season was Brady, I flipped him for the Eagles D/ST+Ray Rice. I then picked up Stafford off FA back in early August. If I go through with this trade my starters look like this. QB: Working a trade for Rivers or Romo, have Freeman on the bench. Or will get Eli or someone off free agency RB:Rice RB:CJ WR:Andre Johnson WR:Larry Fitzgerald WR: Jeremy Maclin/Reggie Wayne/Brandon Marshal TE:Antonio Gates/Jimmy Graham D/ST: Eagles K: Josh Brown Yes Stafford is having a good year but I feel that upgrading from a rotation of Ben Jarvus Green Ellis/Hightower, which is what I usually do for one of my Rb slots, is more important than the marginal points I might lose from Stafford to Romo or Eli Manning.
Except for when they are all gone before you even draft. Of course in my other league, I ended up with Rice and McFadden.
Looks like the Fred Davis show is over in Washington. Time to call an audible. I'm going to try to get Ben Watson cheap this week and hope that Kendricks improves.
I hope you're right but I doubt it. Being a Chris Johnson owner personally I'd jump all over that trade. Dude got paid and he looks like he could care less. I could totally see him half assing it for the rest of the year. And to make matters worse Kenny Britt is out for the season so the Titans only receiving threat is gone. I wish I could have McCoy or McFadden in his place.
I got destroyed. Thank you MNF. Romo, Moss, and Davis gave a combined 18.5 pts. In fact, my best player Ray Rice was the only player in double figures and he didn't even have a good game...
Would you drop Thomas Jones for James Casey? Bonus item: James Casey can be plugged in as an RB or W/T in my lineup. My RBs: Peyton Hillis, Matt Forte, Dexter McCluster, Thomas Jones (I was a Jamaal Charles owner ) My WRs: Steve Smith (Car), Desean Jackson, Deion Branch, Mario Manningham, Eric Decker, Dexter McCluster (counts as an RB/WT)
Nate Washington gets my vote, but is a wait and see now that the double teams will now be on his side of the field. Harvin hasn't done much through 3 weeks, so I wouldn't want to rely on him. He needs to start having some better chemistry with McNabb, or we will be seeing Ponder before long, and I don't think that will boost Harvin. Sidney Rice is interesting. Probably the most talented of the 3. Had a good first game, but did so against the Cardinals. Last 3 games with Jackson and Rice: 5rec 105yds 2TDs 5rec 60yds 8rec 109yds Jackson will definitely look to Sidney Rice, and has chemistry with him. Unfortunately, you only have 3 starts to go on, since Rice didn't bust out until Favre showed up in Minnesota.
I would proposed Reggie Wayne Antonio gates for Desean Jackson So my team would look Cam Newton/Matt Ryan Darren Mcffadden Daniel Thomas Andre Johnson Calvin Johnson Dexter mccluster Reggie Wayne Antonio Gates Kellen Winslow
