I play Plaxico Burress, get 0 points. I play Deion Branch, get 0 points. Oh well. Looks like I'll win both my games this week even with the goose egg in each, unlike last week where that killed me. Thank you McFadden and Megatron.
I started Branch and I had S. Johnson, J. Jones and J. Knox on the bench. Each had at least 8 points, Branch 0!
Jonathan Stewart looks so good and he is getting snake bit every week. I watched a lot of the game and he is making some fantastic cuts. He is looking far better than Deangelo by far. Problem is they aren't using the run enough and Cam's passing targets change week to week.
Thought I'd ride Brady's hot hand. That passing offense is Welker, tight ends and everybody else run dummy routes. I'm still up 30 but my opponent has Garçon and Bryant tomorrow, which is the reason I asked if he was playing.
Week 3 was an aberration for the Panthers as far as I'm concerned. Not that I don't like Stewart -- I think he should definitely be upgraded based on his performance today, but I think this is still the Cam Newton and Steve Smith show, and the total cloudburst just messed things up for that pair today. I think Smith had like 4 or 5 dropped passes.
LeSean McCoy + Calvin Johnson + Jimmy Graham = absolute fantasy money for me this year. Hooray for great drafting.
I'm chuckling at those who took guys like MJD, Gore, Sjax, etc. If you don't take risks on rising studs, you don't win at fantasy football. McCoy, Rice, McFadden: the future of fantasy hierarchy. All 3 of them extremely dangerous dual threat RBs in that Brian Westbrook / Marshall Faulk mode.
Mcfadden might be a more dangerous runner than AP right now. I swear that guy looks like the second coming of Eric Dickerson.
Mccoy and Rice were already off the board when I drafted Steven Jackson. I effin passed on Mcfadden bc I read he had a broken orbital bone. I knew he would beast. My annual fantasy draft brain fart
Sammy, you definitely should not have passed on Mcfadden. As long as he didn't have hammy issues, plus with as old as Jackson is, even without a declared injury he is more of a gamble than Mcfadden would have been. I'm pretty sure you could have rolled with Matt Forte as well. One of the toughest opponents in my league drafted Andre Johnson (1st) + Matt Forte (2nd) and Wes Welker (3rd). He also got Matt Stafford (6th) He is killing the league with this lineup.
