My current roster in a 2 QB, non-PPR league:

    QB: Rivers, Manning
RB: L. McCoy, Hightower, S. Greene, Tate
WR: Holmes, Austin (injured), Colston (injured), Julio Jones

I clearly need help at WR considering all the injuries. Someone proposed Hightower for Jordy Nelson. I feel like any one of my RBs is more valuable than Nelson.

I plan to counter offer with Hightower and Holmes for Vincent Jackson and Nelson. He needs help at RB. He gets two solid starters and gives up one superstar and a #3 WR. Thoughts?

good counter considering you don't have a good 3rd RB option necessarily either

if you had RB depth, i think i could justify Hightower for Nelson given Helu's likely emergence and eventual timeshare..

sounds good to me in a PPR league.. and honestly, regardless since i think flacco is just as good as Fitz, if not better for the rest of the season

I'm assuming this is a 1 QB league. I'd do it. I don't understand the Fitzpatrick hype. So he had two good games against weak teams. The Bills, along with Fitzpatrick, should come down to earth as they face tougher opponents. I'm not buying the Bills. Flacco is proven player on a good team. Sproles has been a stud so far and I expect him to continue to produce in the Saints offense. I'd do it.

My thoughts exactly. So far, I've been successful with a 3 RB, 2 WR lineup. With Vincent Jackson and the return of Austin and/or Colston, I'll have a solid WR core. I'll still have LeSean and Greene/Tate to fill my two RB slots. My only concern is I'm giving up even more RB depth. Maybe I can trade one of my WRs down the road if I need RB help. Thanks.

    I would do it

Fitz, could be good now, but I dont know how much is this streak is going to last, and sproles is getting passes from brees, so getting flacco and sproles its good.

    QB: Romo
    WR1: Nicks
    WR2: Moss
    RB1: Rice

Peyton Hillis v Mia or Beanie Wells @Sea at RB2 this week?

At TE, I think I'm gonna stuck with Fred Davis until SF decides what they want to do with Vernon Davis.

Flex...either of my other RBs can also go here...or Vernon Davis...or David Nelson that I just picked up.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

Mike Williams was just dropped in one of my leagues, Percy Harvin is already cleared waivers. Williams is an obvious pickup if I can get him, but is Harvin worth a pickup and who should I drop

    RB:
    MJD
    Best
    Matthews
    Blount
    Hightower

    WRs:
    Boldin
    Maclin
    Manningham
    Rice
    Colston

I'm assuming Rice since he is injured and even when he comes back Seattle's offense is atrocious.

I'm thinking of dropping Rice for Harvin and then placing a waiver claim for Williams using Harvin as the player dropped just in case someone beats me to it. Good idea?

I would go with Wells and Hillis as your RB2 and flex. Also with Braylon edwards out and Crabtree hurt I think Davis will finally get going this week, but you can't go with Davis this week

That was my original plan, but Wells injured himself in practice today so I am tentative on him. I suppose if he sin't good to go on tomorrow's practice, I'll stick Nelson in the flex.

    Thanks for the response!

I'd drop Rice or Colston for Harvin, easily.

get both for rice and either colston or manningham. I think I'd go Colston given how shallow your league is given your roster

Fred Davis is gonna start for me no matter what.

Wells injured his hammy, but he thinks he's ok... I'll keep an eye on him.

David Nelson over the Cowboy killer? Really?

Something to think about. Dont be fooled by how terrible the Seahawks are this year. They actually have a good run defense.
They held Gore to 59 RuYd, 19 ReYd, 3 Recpt
They held Mendenhall to 66 RuYd, RuTD (1), 12 ReYd, 2 Recpt
Mendenhall was also stopped on 4th and goal from the 1 yard line.

Definitely make the deal. You don't need either player, but it is good value for Fitzpatrick, and you don't really need him anyway.

just my opinion.. given NE's ability to score and give up the pass, and Fitzpatrick's hot hand and his likelihood to go to the slot man in that offense, I just think Nelson is gonna have a big week. S Moss is solid against the Cowboys typically, you're right. I am slightly biased against him just cause I think he's your usual known quantity without much upside (both week to week and on the season), but I think he's a decent play this week...just not as good as Nelson

Rice is a definite drop. Colston is probably next. What you need to do is trade some RB depth for some WRs.

I accepted the deal but dropped D. Jones from Buffalo instead of D. Murray from Dallas. I figured I already had Buffalo's top receiver and running back, no need to keep another Bill. Right move or should I work to keep Jones and drop Murray.
