Thinking about offering LeSean McCoy, Tashard Choice and Chris Cooley or Vernon Davis for Antonio Gates. Any thoughts on this potential deal? Would I be giving up too much? My TE play has sucked this year with Cooley and Davis. Plus I have Phillip Rivers so I'd be able to score twice every time Gates and Rivers hook up in the passing game. Thanks for the advice. Tough matchup coming this week. Especially if Megatron is out.
depends on how deep your league is (# of teams), how deep your roster is (how many starters and bench slots), if you have Westbrook and/or Barber, etc.. no way to evaluate this on its own In most of my leagues, I would say that's giving up too much. Could matchup play Cooley (who should have a good week this coming wk i think) and Davis decently. But in 1 of my leagues, there are a lot of guys on the waiver wire, we don't start a lot of guys and our benches are small...so I'd be willing to make this type of move there.
Thanks. I have Ronnie Brown on a bye. I should have probably held on to Moreno bc there aren't that many decent RB's available. I went ahead and picked up Ahmad Bradshaw. Any sleepers out there that have favorable matchups this week?
I would not start Schaub over Drew Brees. I would not start any quarterback over Drew Brees regardless of matchups. Start your studs, always.
Ronnie Brown is on a bye this week so who should I start? -Cadillac Williams -Jonathan Stewart -Ahmad Bradshaw (he's a free agent, I'll have to add him)
So starting Garrard wasn't too much of help cough* 3 points *cough. Thank god Houseyourmama, Winslow and AP had monster games. I get Rivers back this week. Quick Question. Holt or Holmes? Holmes has been stinking it up but he plays Cle. and Holt had a great game last week and he plays St. Louis... His former team. Help?
Not really but I want to capitalize on him wanting McCoy and Choice so bad. Here is my squad right now: QB Philip Rivers, SD QB RB Matt Forte, Chi RB RB Sammy Morris, NE RB WR Calvin Johnson, Det WR WR Brandon Marshall, Den WR WR DeSean Jackson, Phi WR TE Chris Cooley, Was TE D/ST Ravens D/ST, Bal D/ST K Ryan Longwell, Min K BENCH Willie Parker, Pit RB Darren Sproles, SD RB Trent Edwards, Buf QB LeSean McCoy, Phi RB Vernon Davis, SF TE Bengals D/ST, Cin D/ST Tashard Choice, Dal RB Mohamed Massaquoi, Cle WR Shaun Hill, SF QB
Not even a question--Holmes. Holt sucks. 7 catches for 95 yards qualifies for a great game? They were down 41 points and throwing the ball a good amount...and their #1 WR (Sims-Walker) was out (will be back next week). He's old, he's done I think Holt's peak is the 10 fantasy points you got out of him last week, while Holmes's lowest output next week is probably 5....with a potential peak that's much higher than Holt's.
I didn't promise he would do good. I just said he hasn't been inconsistent. But since I said it he finally chose to be inconsistent.
I'm going to go with Hightower. Seattle contained MJD but they also got destroyed by Gore not to long ago.
So keep Sims-Walker? Just kidding Here's my list: Hightower: Cardinals will probably take the lead and run the clock Bradshaw: Good game coming up, I'm not sure if Bradshaw will get touches Cadillac: Not doing well at all, but you never know Stewart: Amazing backfield in Carolina, but Jake doesn't know. Plus Deangelo is in front of him I'd go with Hightower
Brees has zero touchdowns in his last 2 starts and plays against the Giants this week. Schaub does sound like the better bet this week.
