Need to drop two receivers, or rather which should I keep: M. Thomas P. Garcon J. Knox All have pros and cons: Thomas is the only #1 receiver on his team, but probably has the worst QB situation Knox has the best current offensive situation, but is a #2 (and should be ahead of R. Williams imo) Or should I stash Garcon and hope for a Manning return. I'm leaning towards Knox, anyone have any advice?
Do you have to do it now? I'd prob cut Garcon unless Collins showed a great rapport early. Hard to say what Kerry will do and who he'll like, though I would guess he'd go Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne mostly. So if you have to do it now, I'd cut Garcon...but if you could wait until this week happens, I'd wait just to see him
Yeah I do. I'm currently 2 players over my max roster. I think I'll go with Garcon and Thomas. Hopefully Knox remains Cutler's go to guy
Oh i mis-read. Yeah if you have ot cut 2, I'd def cut Garcon... and personally I'd cut Knox over Thomas, but I think the "smart" play is to do what you said and cut Thomas
Should I start Derrick Ward over Ryan Matthews this week or start Ward over Dallas Clarke on the flex position? My other TE was Finley in a ppr leauge.
Are you serious? Mike Williams is a top ten WR and the number 1 target of Josh Freemen, who had a career year. Hightower is an average player in a good system and Bensen (while I personally believe is talented he isn't close to the talent that Mike Williams is) . You're crazy for even considering not starting Mike Williams. SMH
Tough call between the 1st 2. I'd go Hightower personally. I feel like there's a chance Williams outproduces him by a little bit, but there's also a good chance he underproduces. Whereas Hightower is more of a sure thing, and Williams doesn't have enough of an upside over Hightower this week to justify that risk
I pick not being in a league that allows you to have all 3 of them..that's just dumb Charles and Jones-Drew this week I think
When you're in a league that counts return yards and TDs and you're other 2 WRs are Fitz and Percy Harvin, that makes Williams a luxury. This is going to be my week-to-week dilemma for fantasy all year long with the RB2 spot and the RB/WR flex.
I mean I'm not trying to tell you what to do, and week 1 might prove me wrong, but I don't think any of the top fantasy players would EVER consider playing Hightower over Mike Williams. But go ahead and do it and prove me wrong. I hope sincerely it works out for you. By the way, I'd play Williams over Harvin, even with return yards counted, in a heartbeat. Harvin could struggle and the kick offs moving up is going to limit kick off returns.
