Here is my starting line-up for tomorrow: QB Shaun Hill, SF QB RB LeSean McCoy, Phi RB RB Tashard Choice, Dal RB WR Calvin Johnson, Det WR WR Brandon Marshall, Den WR WR DeSean Jackson, Phi WR TE Vernon Davis, SF TE D/ST Ravens D/ST, Bal D/ST K Ryan Longwell, Min K Bye week cost me Rivers and Forte. I also have Trent Edwards on my bench but think Hill is the safe play for at least 10 points. Hoping my WRs go nuts and McCoy and Choice get mop up duty late in their games against the Bucs and Chiefs. Also I have Sammy Morris on my bench and think he might be good for a TD. Thinking about starting him over Choice. Any thoughts or suggestions? The waiver wire is pretty desolate at this point in my league for WR/QB/RBs
Thats a pretty brutal Bye Week hit, but last week I started Mike Sims-Walker, Glenn Coffee and Tashard Choice and won comfortably... so you never know.
I have Forte, Gates, Sproles, Ryan Grant and Hester all on a bye this week. Still debating if I should start Brady (@ Den) or Flacco (vs. Cin).
Not as brutal as mine right now. Rivers, Vincent Jackson, Forte, Ryan Grant. Well at least this week I get Desean Jackson back along with Sims Walker. I am in first right now and 3rd in points. If i can win this week I should be happy. I just dropped Mark Sanchez for David Garrard in this league and hoping from some bling bling between him and Walker. My Starting lineup in my main money league that I care the most about looks like this with my backups. QB - David Garrard RB - Marshawn Lynch RB - Jerome Harrison - Just dropped J. Lewis to pick him up. WR - DeSean Jackson WR - Sims - Walker WR - Steve Smith (NY) FLEX - Tony Gonzales (We don't have a TE position) K - Ryan Lindell DEF - Steelers
I'm going to stick by it and say Flacco. I have told everyone that has asked me this and I will say it and take the blame if you lose because of not having Brady in there. I guarantee Flacco has more points than Brady this week. Even knowing that if i say I guarantee I'm setting myself up for failure haha...but I'm very confident in Flacco. That's coming from a guy that has Brady on one of his teams this year. I want major REP points from everyone when I'm right..if not take them all back haha.
I am starting Flacco over Brady again this week. So far this year Flacco has been the better fantasy player.
QB - Flacco WR - Steve Smith (NYG) WR - Mike Sims-Walker RB - DeAngelo Williams RB - Rashard Mendenhall TE - Brent Celek K - Lawrence Tynes DEF - Minnesota Vikings D - Justin Durant D - Thomas Howard D - Curtis Lofton DB - Brian Dawkins DB - Antrelle Rolle DL - Elvis Dumerville DL - Jared Allen Bench D - Karlos Dansby DL - Antwan Odom RB - McGahee QB - Aaron Rodgers (bye) WR - Marques Colston (bye)
My Oilers will be going into batte with this formation this week: QB: Jo Flacco WR: Hines Ward WR: TJ Houshmanzadeh WR: Mike Sims-Walker RB: Adrian Peterson RB: Ronnie Brown TE: Kellen Winslow K: Lawrence Tynes DEF: Minnesota Bench: QB: Tom Brady WR: Mario Manningham WR: Donald Driver RB: Cadillac Williams RB: Jonothan Stewart DEF: San Francisco My only question left is San Fran or Minny D??
Start Leon Washington (@Mia), Pierre Garcon (@Ten), or LeSean McCoy (TB) at a flex spot this week in PPR?
I don't think Moes wants me posting in here but.. I know the Yankees get annoying and I totally respect your opinion on A-Rod, I was just a little tired of the whole "Yankees only win because they have money" argument. No hard feelings over the A-rod argument we had ok? Anyways this bye week hit me hard. I know I still have Peterson facing St. Louis but Garrard is very inconsistent.
A while back I would say the same thing but Flacco is putting up numbers week in and out. This week I would take Flacco. Just cause it's Brady doesn't make it automatic anymore. I'll revisit this thread after tomorrow's games and if I'm wrong I will completely take it....but I have a feeling I won't be.
I decided to, but San Fran has scored almost double the amount of points Minny has this season. They are the #1 fantasy defense in the league, I just picked them up as a FA.
Yeah but the only reason SF Defense is up there now is because they scored a whopping 44 points last week...aginst St. Louis. Minnesota's pass rush, hard hitting linebackers, and ball hawk secondary will play St. Louis today...
Well, it looks like my team is gonna win pretty easily. My opponent has decided to start Drew Brees, Vincent Jackson, and Antonio Gates this week. All of which have no games to play in.
