Graham just looks flat out good on the field. But they spread it so I imagine he might be inconsistent. I like Grankowski because he has the tools to be one of the best tight ends in the NFL. If he can establish himself I think he could command a bigger and more consistent role in their offense.
True, but with Colston already ailing I think Brees will view Graham as his #1 red zone target. The Saints won't receivers aren't going to stand out, but you'll have 3-4 of them finish highly ranked within a given season.
Given both of those...you can offer it, but any sane owner would reject it. No reason to want Ryan when you have Stafford and a capable backup. If Stafford got hurt, maybe he'd want to consider it...but until that point, it wouldn't make any sense.
.5 ppr league wr: wayne, mike wallace, julio jones, sims walker rb: mccoy, addai, thomas, starks should I trade reggie wayne for felix jones? I think I should look for another rb.
Is it too early to pick up Ringer? I picked him up in two of my leagues dropped my 15th round pick. A bit worried about my work league its a PPR league format is qb, 3 wr, 2rb, te, k, d/st I have no depth at qb and TE and figure to plug and play if needed there - its a 10 team league so still some decent pickups in the FA pool matt ryan Megatron/M.Williams (TB)/Brandon Marshall/Julio Jones/Malcolm Floyd Mendehall/Forte/Beanie Wells/Fred Jackson/McGahee/Ringer Dallas Clark NE D/ST Hartley for a 2rb league i know i have too many RBs hoping that they all do well so i can make a trade later on for a position i may need more help with. Just upset that it took me 20 mins to find parking last night I would have been 10 minutes early but then I ended up over 10 mins late cuz of bad parking and comp autdrafted the first 4 rounds for me biggest facepalm was that it drafted Forte for me when Hillis was still on the board
I really like Graham but I REALLY REALLY like Brandon Pettigrew this season. Last year with a backup QB he racked up 71 catches / 722 yards and / 4 TDs, that's not too shabby for a second year pro without his #1 darft pick QB.... He's goin pretty low imo and can be a major steal in the 14th 15th and 16th rounds if he lasts that far. Look for a major year from this guy.
OK dude bros; I need help. I need to drop 2 players and add a kicker and a defense. My team: 1. (2) Jamaal Charles RB 2. (19) Peyton Hillis RB 3. (22) Matt Ryan QB 4. (39) DeSean Jackson WR 5. (42) Marques Colston WR 6. (59) Jermichael Finley TE 7. (62) Chad Ochocinco WR 8. (79) Brandon Jacobs RB 9. (82) Ben Roethlisberger QB 10. (99) Thomas Jones RB 11. (102) Mike Thomas WR 12. (119) Pierre Garcon WR 13. (122) Mike Sims-Walker WR 14. (139) Steve Smith WR (Carolina) Available Kickers: David Akers (SF) Josh Brown (STL) Dan Carpenter (MIA) Nick Folk (NYJ) Rob Bironas (TEN) Billy Cundiff (BAL) Jay Feely (ARZ) Available Defenses: New England @Mia Arizona v Car Atlanta @Chi New Orleans @GB Oakland @Den Detroit @TB Baltimore v Pit Dallas @NYJ Who would you drop/add? I'm currently trying to add Detroit and Brown and drop Smith and Walker.
I'd drop Garcon and Sims-Walker. NE is the best overall defense but Arizona plays Cam Newton. I might drop Garcon, SW & Smith and pickup NE & Arizona...
Pettigrew got a majority of those #s with Stafford on the bench when he played with Stafford his numbers were significantly lower per game. I think in the double digit rounds he is a decent pickup but if Stafford stays healthy I wouldnt expect the same sort of production out of him this year. Stafford just never really looked to him, hopefully that has change I havent really seen much of the lions pre season games but Stafford has been playing well in them I hear.
I'm flirting with the idea of AZ, I don't have much faith in NE though. I love me some Lions... sack points out the wazoo... even if Detroit gives up points, I'll be getting it back via fumbles/sacks.
way off topic but noticed you're almost at 30k posts damn son how are you going to explain that to your kid?
My draft this year will be taking place waaaay last minute (Wednesday night). Upside is, not having to sit and watch big changes or injuries happen in between the draft and week 1. I'm in a keeper league where drafted guys can be kept for 3 years, costing you a draft pick in the same round you took them (max 3 keepers per year, only one per position). After some wheeling and dealing this past year I go in with the 1st, 4th, 10th, 22nd, and 24th picks of the draft (not counting keeper picks). 15 rounds, 10 team league, standard scoring. Vick or Chris Johnson would seem to be the obvious picks....but I just don't fully trust either of them. Johnson came down to earth last year and his holdout (over!) has me on high alert for hamstring tweak. I'm dead certain Vick will sink a little bit from a year ago, and he's a constant risk to miss a handful of games. EDIT: Should I proceed as follows: 1. Johnson (1st)(round 1) 2. Mendenhall (4th)(round 1) 3. Fitzgerald/White (10th)(round 2) 4. Gates (22nd)(round 3) 5. Schaub/Freeman (24th)(round 4) *Keepers: RB: Foster, Peterson, Rice, S Jackson, J Charles, Moreno**, A Bradshaw WR: A Johnson, C Johnson, G Jennings, V Jackson, S Holmes, D Bryant**, W Welker, M Floyd QB: P Manning, Brady, Ryan, Roethlisberger, Bradford TE: V Davis, O Daniels** Def: PHI, NYJ K: M Crosby (srsly) **My keepers (5th, 9th, 13th rounders) What I would do. Defenses are notoriously difficult to predict (after the first 3 sure fire ones).
True, very very true but it looks as if Stafford has finally found what a weapon Pettigrew could be for him down the middle. Shaun Hill probably helped him realize it cause the only person it looked like he actually had any confidence was CJ. I've watched a few of their preseason match ups on NFL Network and it looks like they've finally clicked and gotten that connection. Anyway those are just my observations we'll see how it works out this season.
I'm trying to upgrade my RB/WR spots by flipping one of my QBs... help me formulate a trade with this guy who is looking to upgrade his QB position. Trying to put together a 3 for 3 package swapping one guy from each position, RB, WR/T, and QB. I would settle for just a QB/WR combo for QB/WR swap, though. Assets I can give: QB Matt Ryan or QB Ben Roethlisburger RB Brandon Jacobs or RB Peyton Hillis W/T Chad Ochocinco or W/T Jermichael Finley or W/T Mike Thomas Assets he can give: QB Joe Flacco or QB Eli Manning RB Matt Forte or RB Steven Jackson W/T Santonio Holmes or W/T Anquan Boldin or W/T Mario Manningham The trade I'm thinking about proposing looks like so: Although I doubt it will get accepted.
Need some more ayuda. I have the Saints D and Aaron Rodgers going against each other, so Im debating whether or not to drop my "project" receiver for either the Browns D vs. Bengals or Niners D vs. Seahawks. I also thru in Cards D vs. Panthers but forgot they still have Williams n Stewart. Help!
Just pulled off this trade in a yahoo winner's league. I gave up: Matt Ryan Dwayne Bowe Michael Turner I get: Ben Roethlisberger Larry Fitzgerald Ahmad Bradshaw My lineup now looks like this: QB: Big Ben / Kolb RB: McCoy / Bradshaw / Hightower / Green-Ellis WR: Fitz / Mike Wallace / Britt / Santana Moss, Jacoby Ford TE: Vernon Davis / A Hernandez K: Henery DEF: New England My rationale for the trade is I think Michael Turner is very high usage and may slow down a bit this year after 3 years of being a pounder. I don't think Bowe will get anywhere near 15 TDs this year, and Cassel looked horrible in preseason, I want no part of him. Big Ben and Ryan are pretty much a push to me, I think they'll finish right around the same in total points. I give up some points at RB, but I think adding Fitz will be a huge gain for my WR corps which I was worried was a little shaky.
