Man I felt I got ripped off man.....Freaking yahoo. Joe Webb is either a qb or a wr, he can't be both....... A dude i was playing picked him up and put him in the wr slot the day before the games played and it ended with him beating me by 6 points in the semis and now he's gonna end up winning the chamipionship doing the samething. Granted I did copy the move in one of my other leauge's and ending up winning the title but still.

But this year has been good. I had 8 teams. My first batch was the full season and I went to the playoffs in two of them. One I lost in the semis but win third and the other I lost in the finals. My other batch 5 games into the season, I went to the playoffs with 3 teams and won the championship in all of them. So being this only my second year playing, not so too bad on my part lol. Foot ball fantasy is way more fun and easy then baseball imo.

Basically in Yahoo if you play fantasy basketball or baseball you would see that if a player plays a certain number of games at a specific position then he gets eligibility in that position. He had eligibility as a WR the whole season but as soon as he starts at QB then he gets that too so they don't take the WR one away because he suited up enough games as a WR that he gets that eligibility. If he never played as a WR or suited up any of those games then they would have taken away that eligibility.

Such as Woodhead or Mcluster who play both WR and RB.

It sucks but part of the game. I went against him today and I almost lost because of him but nothing I could have done at the end of it all. It's the nature of the beast.

    1 of 12
    1 of 12

    1 out of 10, 1 out of 10, 2 out of 10, 2 out of 10, 1 out of 9, 3 out of 10, 4 out of 10

3rd because AP decides not to show up.

One of them I'm second because Celek stat pads.

I'm never doing this many teams again because it is frustrating owning a player on a certain team but also facing him in a different league.

Thanks for explaining, but it doesn't make me feel any better. I had a stacked team.

How do you play for money? Is it for only with your friends or something?

Some sort of buy-in (mine was $20). First/second/third get a 60%/30%/10% split. Other leagues may give a weekly payout to the team with the most points at the end of the year. There is an endless number of setups.

One thing is for sure, money leagues tend to be more competitive, especially at the end of the year.

Tastes good to be Champion. In the closest fantasy football championship game ever, 138-135 final score.

I won because Vick screwed up so much for the other guy. Lovely. Now I await my $390 pot money. Whoopity Wooop.

This is what we're doing next year.

Out of the 4 years my league has existed, I have finished 2nd twice and 3rd twice, and in each time I was top 3 in total points.

I'm a little tired of losing out on the big money because my team ends up shutting down in week 16.

Yeah trust me, I almost lost to a team that had him and Vick going tonight and I would be upset too but not like he cheated so nothing I can do about it, yet at the end of the day it does suck.

For next year, if you want to see who the hottest pickups are at any given moment, look at the transaction trends link under the research tab. Sort by adds.

Destroyed ass in my yahoo winner's league.

Rode my hogs, Foster and Rodgers to glory.

Mike Williams + Mike Wallace were money in the bank.

That's what I'd narrow it down too...probably would end up going with Webb (he's impressed me so far) and Johnson (most opportunity)....Lloyd/Gaffney always get catches spread, and now with Tebow runnin the show its worse for recievers....Manningham/Hicks have same issue.

    Running Back (pick 2)
    -Arian Foster
    -LaGarrette Blount

Tolbert got injured last week.....Charles is alright....Hillis is alright....Arian & Blount have been money for me and consistent....Hillis is outside 3rd choice.

Flex (pick one from WR or RB)
    Joe Webb

    Tight End (pick 1)
    Visanthe Shiancoe

Gronkowski is gettin way more catches then Hernandez. Webb is going to Shiancoe often on bailouts.

I think I am going with Lloyd and Manningham at WR, Foster and Charles at RB, and Webb at the flex spot

If Andre starts for the texans, I will got with Hernandez, but if Andre doesnt play, I will go with OD

Week 17 is the championship game for me; any advice is much appreciated!

    QB - pick 1
    Phillip Rivers @DEN
    Tim Tebow SD
    Sam Bradford @SEA

    TE - pick 1
    Rob Gronkowski MIA
    Tony Gonzalez CAR

    RB/WR - pick 5, has to be 3 WRs/2 RBs or 3 RBs/2 WRs
    Jamaal Charles OAK
    LeGarrette Blount @NO
    Vincent Jackson @DEN
    Greg Jennings CHI
    Mike Wallace @CLE
    Roddy White CAR
    Darren McFadden @KC

I picked up Tebow/Bradford this week b/c who knows how long Rivers will play.

Gronkowski was a last minute week 16 pickup after hearing Aaron Hernandez was inactive, and he saved my ass especially since my oppenent's QB was Brady.

For RB/WR, I'm leaning towards Charles, Blount, Jackson, Jennings, and Wallace. McFadden is supposedly a game time decision with the turf toe/ankle. I'm hoping Charles plays enough to justify the start.

    Thanks in advance, guys!

    Anquan Boldin
    Jabar Gaffney

    Running Backs
    Arian Foster
    Jamaal Charles
    Peyton Hillis
    LaGarrette Blount
    Mike Tolbert

    Tight Ends
    Aaron Hernandez
    Owen Daniels
    Visanthe Shiancoe

    Kicker
    Nick Folk

    Defense
    New Orleans

    Defensive Players
