Yahoo changed this at the beginning of last season. At 2AM CST on Sunday night/Monday morning, you have to have any prospective players that go in the Monday night game already rostered on your team. If a player is picked up after that cut-off time he is available for the following week's matchup. This rule will cost many people their matchups this week.

I dont' know if that's the right thing to do. The rule in Yahoo has changed a bit and if you make that exception your going outside the rules to do it. Morally could come back to bite ya if you pull it off based on commish powers.

You would have to think everyone or anyone else could be your position and have to play by the rules that the league is setup as.

Our league rules have always been lineup changes allowed until kickoff.

    Yahoo's stupid system changed apparently.

Not like it matters anyway, my opponent called me and told me they wanted to add Gerhart in place of AP and drop Zach Miller :( so I had to do it for them.

10 points + Gerhart vs Johnny Knox...

    POOP :(

lol that sucks...but at least you did the right thing. As long as everyone in your league knows the rules and you guys stick to it then fine by me. I'm kind of bitter about a waiver pull that gone done differently in my league that I'm in new in and it sucked.

So good to know you have the ability to do it for others as well...good luck man.

I flipped a coin between Knox and Hester.

    Went with Knox.

    Would have won with Hester.

Didn't Knox have a 67 TD? that wasn't enough...thought you only needed 11. Unless you have different points per yard.

I was so scared my opponent was going to come back. He had Gould and gave him 16 damn points. I was up by 22. I kept pacing around like a mad man till the game was over. If I ended up losing to a kicker I would have to **** myself.

I feel for express in Clutchfans nWo league one. All he needed was a field goal from the MN to win and play me in the Super Bowl. It did not happen.

    Ouch.

Nobody was using Webb at QB...he's got the extremely rare QB/WR designation in nearly every league. A QB playing in the WR slot is valuable indeed.

Made it to the championship game, thanks for all advice throughout the season. Need help one last time.

Should I stick with NE defense against Buffalo or should I take a chance with Dallas against a rookie QB (@Arizona)

Also I'm trimming roster fat and trying to pick up any player that my opponent could possibly use. Which of these TE should keep/pickup

    Marcedes Lewis vs WASH

    Kevin Boss @ GB

    Zach Miller vs IND

    thanks

Lewis seems like a solid steady pick at the TE spot if he has a more up and down kinda guy.

Now, for my wife's championship game:

    Schaub @ DEN
    Big Ben vs CAR

Hillis vs BAL(scored 20 points in first matchup)
    Blount vs SEA
    Foster @ DEN

    AJ @ DEN
    Bowe vs TEN
    Maclin vs MIN
    MWilliams vs SEA
    HWard vs CAR

Pick 1 QB, 2 RBs, and 3 WRs

If the Texans were going full bore, those guys would be my choice unless it's a blizzard. Cassel is back for KC so Bowe should do allright. Maclin coming off 2 TD game but DJax was left out. Mike Williams seems steady and most WRs do OK vs SEA. Ward vs CAR would be mainly if the Texans guys don't go to pair up with Ben.

And with the Steelers going Thursday, hopefully the Texans come out with what their plans are early.

Pick 1 QB, 2 RBs, and 3 WRs

    Schaub

    denver's passing defense is 23, while carolina's is 8

    Foster and Blount

    Denver's rushing defense is 31 and seattle's is 21

    AJ, Bowe, and Williams

Again, these matchups appear to be the best and the talent of these receivers is elite..

Now, Can someone help me decide:

    1 Qb

    Big Ben vs. Carolina
    M.Ryan vs. NO

    2 Wr's

    M.Austin vs Arizona
    S.Moss vs. Jacksonville
    M.Wallace vs. Carolina

    1 Flex

    B.Westbrook vs. St.Louis
    F.Jackson vs. NE
Or one of the 3 wr's mentioned above

    thanks

I would definitely stick with NE defense. They have been one of the best for the past 4-5 weeks and most likely will put it to Buffalo. You have to ride them when they are hot.

Ryan because it will likely be a shootout with the Saints.

    Wallace WR
    Moss WR
    Westbrook Flex
