Damn committee running back crap. Should I go with: Julius Jones (gets touches, and occasionally every 4 weeks does something with them) Fred Jackson (saved my ass but Marshawn Lynch is back splitting his work) Rashard Mendendall (I dont think Willie Parker's gonna stay healthy) ?
[rquoter] Orton: Big game coming for Royal Updated 10/7/2009 News: Denver QB Kyle Orton maintains that his rapport with WR Eddie Royal may be the best that he has with any Broncos WR. So far, that's translated to just eight catches (7.3 ypc) as defenses have neutralized Royal. "At some point, he's going to break out and have a big game," Orton said.[/rquoter]
mcnabb, absolutely.. minny will be up by too much to throw.. and TB can't defend the pass either, so no worries with either defense
Okay I need to drop some guys to pickup replacements for guys in bye weeks. Who should I drop? Should I drop GB defense and pickup another defense or just leave it as is vs New England defense? Or should I drop Folk and pickup another defense and go with no kicker for the week? Should I drop San Diego D, Ginn, Johnson, Coffee, or Royal for a QB? Coffee only has about 1 week of use left in him as is, he goes against ATL, is that a decent matchup for him? Makes the most sense to drop Coffee if I don't play him this week... Who do I release out of Ginn, Ward, Sims-Walker, Briggs/Odom/Ware, Green Bay Defense, and Crosby, to fill the kicker, defense, and QB? Who can I drop? Whoever gives this post the time of day gets rep btw. Its not exactly easy.
Get rid of Ginn. He is going up against a stingy Jets secondary. They've shut down our very own Andre Johnson as well as Colston (or Brees for that matter). I have Ware, and I am this close to letting him go. If he doesn't perform against KC, I will drop him straight up. Keep Sims-Walker. Gerrard is on point right now, and he's playing Seattle. He's starting to emerge as the go to guy in their passing game. Keep Odom (for now). He produces a decent amount of tackles for a DE. If he doesn't sack, at least he won't be an absolute non-producer, unlike Ware. Fill up your spots. Do not let a spot go empty. It makes a huge difference
I am probably dumb and never realized it but some leagues count defensive players return stats. So its like a loophole almost.
Wow unless you really needed a QB and a first WR and also have depth at RB, it would be really hard for me to trade away AP.
Between your suggestion and kaleid's Mcnabb comment, still up in the air this week. Will probably make the decision coming up to game time, I just hate how there's always a situation like this.. but so rewarding if you guess right!
And none of the other top 5 RBs have been worth their draft position. Maybe Forte, and (because of the Texans) MJD.
SHould I start TJ Hous or Mario Manningham this week also, Roy Williams just became a free agent, is he worth adding? my current receivers are: -Hines Ward -Donald Driver -Mike Sims-Walker -Mario Manningham -Johnny Knox -T.J. Houshmanzadeh
