Johnson, Moreno and Jones. Almost all of these guys (except for Jones) have tough matchups this week so it's hard to choose. I'd perhaps take a flier on Wallace if I wanted to hit a home run since he has been hot lately. @Aggie2012, Fred Jackson easily.
Wow, the Bears D scored me 18 to kick off the football weekend! The guy with Forte started McFadden against Pitt and Harvin against GB, smh. Therefore I came out the biggest from Thursday night. I'm benching Aaron Hernandez for Zach Miller... good idea???
I am (as long as you're talking about Oakland's Zach Miller). The Hernandez/Gronkowski situation in NE hurts too much.
Do you think Zach will be able to pull his weight coming off injury? I mean it wasn't like NE wasn't trying to get the ball to Hernandez, Pitt's D prepared and strategized to shut down Aaron at let the other Pat recievers beat them. You don't think it'll be a little easier for Miller to be shut out with him still hurt, at the least.
You also have to remember that Gronkowski had 3 TD's against Pittsburgh. Obviously there's some vulnerability there to tight ends. Hernandez just simply didn't take many snaps against the Steelers, so it's not really that he got shut down... and that's probably the most concerning thing about him.
Have a RB spot to fill... Thomas Jones vs. Ari (been horrible the last 3 weeks, but Ari's run defense is bad) Brandon Jackson @ Minny (was picking it up before their bye) Mike Tolbert vs Denver (Mathews still not practicing and Denver bad against the run) Torn between Tolbert and Jones. I know Tolbert will at worst get red zone carries, even if Mathews plays. Arizona is bad against the run, but I don't know if they're going to continue to give Jones limited work. Jackson is so iffy and Minny still has a good run defense.
I believe Hernandez finished with only 1 target. I'd take that as a bad sign. Of course New England loves changing things week to week.
Can't bank on NE changing things. Zach Miller was a top TE before getting injured and there's no reason to believe he won't continue being so... except not having Gradkowski anymore might hurt.
who should I start as my flex? Garcon vs NE Jacoby Ford vs Pitt Greene vs Hou Pitt's secondary isnt the greatest and Ford maybe able to get a lot of catches in the middle the way NE tore them apart last week. Greene I can see just having the most solid day though out of the three but not having any TDs while Garcon and Ford may
One more. I'm debating between Garcon @NE Santana Moss @Ten I really want to put Thomas Jones into the consideration but he's burnt me two weeks in a row, thinking that he would bounce back from on off game against Oakland...
1 pt ppr, need 2 RBs: Benson v. Buf S. Greene v. Hou L. Blount @ SF Keiland Williams @Ten I was all set to play Williams but now they're saying Portis is starting. Been getting let down by Benson and Greene constantly. Blount has come on but SF has been good against the run.
Could use some advice re: starting TE I've got Z. Miller (against PIT) starting in place of an injured A. Gates. However, Gates hasn't been ruled out yet, so I was thinking of leaving Miller on the bench in the hopes that Gates will play and picking up Randy McMichael as an insurance policy in case Gates sits out. Should I just start Miller or hold out hope for Gates? tia!
MJD & McFadden Lewis MJD is a must start. David Garrards favorite target is Lewis in the end zone so I expect the Jags to score multiple TDs. McFadden and McCoy is a toss up to me. I like McFadden more just because I think he will get more touches then McCoy with Vick scrambling and stealing his yards.
