There goes the Matt Schaub pattern of on again off again weeks. Please Yahoo take him off the no cut list
WHy would you even consider CUTTING him? That seems insane. He gave me 30 points this week He has been solid for me every week
I just cut Ryan Mathews to grab a kicker since Janikowski is on a bye in week 10. The Chargers are also on a bye in week 10, plus Mathews hurt his ankle (again) in the Texans game, so he may be out in week 11. Now for the money question. Arian Foster @ Jacksonville Fred Jackson vs. Detroit Thomas Jones @ Denver Knowshon Moreno vs. KC Pick 2...
Foster is a no-brainer. I know Jones struggled yesterday, but he still received plenty of carries, which is the most important factor with him. I'd take Jones.
Denver and Detroit are both terrible against the run, Jackson is the lead dog in Buffalo, but KC likes to run the ball more. It's a tough call between TJ and Freddy.
Yeah, I'm not going to cut him, but I might bench him in favor of Josh Freeman next week. Freeman is consistent, Shaub isn't.
Jacksonville is bottom 5 against the pass, if you were ever going to bench him, this week was the time... but not week 10.
Yep, they both seem to get 20 carries a week in a normal game where they're not playing from behind. I'm leaning toward Jones, simply because I think that KC will play Denver a lot closer or play with the lead but Detroit may jump out in front of Buffalo early.
Do you think Fred Jackson in a PPR league might be a good play? BJGE vs Pittsburgh is my other option and I really don't want anything to do with Pittsburgh's "D".
Detroit has some seriously mean pass rush going on... I expect Buffalo to be checking down and giving Fred Jackson screens all day. He is a great play in PPR.
Between Jackson actually making catches, which Green-Ellis doesn't, and the defenses they are facing, I'd go Jackson.
Man, I don't know who to start next week. Jacob Tamme is putting up Dallas Clark numbers with Peyton Manning (who targeted him 11 times yesterday), but Vernon Davis will be coming off the bye week next week. Vernon Davis vs. Rams or Jacob Tamme vs. Bengals? Both have decent pass defense (Bengals are slightly better), but Tamme has Peyton Manning... At least it's a good decision either way, probably.
Well, in Troy's first game at QB, Davis only caught 1 pass for 12 yrds. Tamme looks to be turning into Peyton's safety blanket. I'd go Tamme until he cools off.
