    that guy is mad.

anybody hear from Schaub after the game? Or was he busy getting iced down from the fall he took on the "self-sack"?

I had to take my 8 year old to a birthday party right around halftime. I was recording the game. He said, "certainly the Texans will win this one right, Dad?"

We talked about the Buffalo game on the way to the party. Obviously this wasn't that bad for lots of reasons. But the tale of two stories halves are getting effing old already.

Few "new" positives from this game.

    1) Mercilus played GREAT. He looked like Cushing, but on the outside.
    2) Ed Reed looks legit. OR... QBs are scared to test him. Wasn't just the Flacco familiarity factor. SEA didn't try much over the middle. Better news is he's prob not yet 100.

Couldn't think of a 3rd. Bullock making FGs?

The pick-6 situation is amazing. We just have to hope it stops because it's doubtful Kubiak does anything radical. Hopefully the defense doesn't stop playing hard, although it might be human nature.

mercilus had one job and he did well before cushing went out.
his job was to not let wilson run wild on us. once cushing went down, didn't do very well.

The scoring by quarter was very weird...

    1 2 3 4 o

    SEA 3 0 3 14 3
    HOU 0 20 0 0 0

Can somebody tell me what the announcers were laughing at after the kickoff to start the second half. I was folding laundry in the other room but heard something along the lines of "headbutt and his name is xxxx, which is not indicative of his name." it ended with a personal foul.

Who was that special teams player they were referring to?

    Salt in the wound

2 lucky/fortunate plays that favored HOU

    1) No PI on McCain on the deep TD attempt... clearly PI
    2) Foot tackle on SEA's punt return. Lucky that wasn't a TD.

We need ALL our big players. Schaub nor Kubiak is good enough to overcome that type of turbulence. Last season was over when Cushing went down.

    Clarification on KJs overtime penalty....

The fact it was a bodyslam was the penalty.. Not because it was late?

When I heard what could be a whistle, Kareem was right about to slam dude... kinda hard to stop at that point.

Body slamming is an unnecessary roughness penalty. Cant do that...stupid, dumb play by KJ.

More great news... teams that play overtime lose the next game 80% of the time.

    Texans were a statistic @BAL.

OK, Texans didn't get screed. Thought the call was late hit. I barely heard a whistle.

So, I understand the Schaub hate...but does Tate get any blame here? His fumble in Denver almost cost us...and this one did cost us.

we don't play niners until night time. not sure if it's really going to favor the texans or not

little part of it. defense held them to 3 pts so wasn't that bad at the time
