If you are on offense the last thing you do is let the defense dictate what you do. Again, hard to blame Kubiak when Schaub is throwing it right to a defender. Short yardage situation, Sea MAY bite on the run. It wasn't such a dumb call as some would make it seem. Sure you could have called anything else but that is said for every play that fails. It's on your players too, to understand the simple situation of the game. That your team is up and you don't just toss the ball up in the air.
Andre Johnson > Thomas OD and Graham > Thomas, Dresson Welker Decker >= Hopkins Posey, Lestar, Martin (talent not production) am I silly for thinking that? If Schaub would look somewhere else Texans have a dynamic squad.
Well if the team can't survive a injury for a single half witha 17 point lead... Defense played great today. I think they had to adjust with Cush and gave up that 90 yard drive during that time but they bounced back and held their own. It was the offense that gave up 10 points in this game that the defense could do little about.
He takes care of the ball. Thats why they are 4-0. Schaub thorws a pick or two every game. Thats how we lose so much. Most of his picks have been a return td. We are beating ourselves.
Btw...Sherman was gifted a TD...bc he was owned by Andre today...he has zero reason to talk at all...
that's probably what ticked me off the most...Andre straight owned Sherman, yet Sherman is going to get all the praise for literally a gift wrapped pick 6
It seriously pissed me off with his TD celebration. Dude was owned all day long, they even put Browner on Johnson because Sherman was NO match for him.
If you're a true texans fan, you know that Shaub needs to go. Keenum or TJ needs to start. Kubiak needs to go.
Yes. Alex doesn't gift TDs. It's hard enough to beat these teams, even harder when you are gifting them TDs. When people are saying that Kubiak should have just run it because they DON'T trust Schaub...well then it may be time to make the switch. I'm one of the most patient guys around here but if you can't trust your QB in that situation...
How much longer are we going to give these guys? Kubiak and Schaub had become dartboard material at my house around 4 years ago. How long is it going to take the rest of our fans to call for the firing of these two clowns? Another year? Two years? How long is it going to take?

Thing is, INTs are really THAT bad. IF you're throwing downfield. Sure, you don't want turnovers, but an INT on a deep pass is like a punt. This fool Schaub throws 5 yards INTs. LMAO. There's barely any upside if the pass IS completed. LMAO. It's amazing. YET, Scahub will start next game. Props to Kubiak though THIS game. Nice aggressive game plan. Same note- F Kubes (and McNair) for continuing with Schaub... and extending his contract.
People have been ragging on Schaub for his physical limitations. Lack of arm strength. Lack of mobility. But he's run the offense well and has generally been OK at taking care of the ball, about average compared to the rest of the starting QBs in the league. But if he's turning the ball over excessively and giving the other team points, what exactly does he have going for him? He can still run the offense and move the ball in stretches, but a turnover can quickly negate all of that. He needs to stop turning the ball over, now. 6 INTs in 4 games is pathetic. 3 of them returned for TDs and another that directly led to a TD on the next play are even more pathetic. Either he gets his **** straightened out or he needs to get benched.
