after a lucky career game by carlos boozer and a few a fluke shots down the stretch by the blazers the spurs once again looked great tonight against the raptors

parker and duncan should be back on wednesday against the dallas mavericks a game im attending and should win easily against a overated dallas mavprick team

all i can say as a spurs fan

    f**k the mavs

Why are Rockets fans subjected to trolling on a Rockets' fan site? I don't mind discussing other teams, but an "Official" Spurs thread itself is an obvious troll post.

I'd take the Raptor game with a grain of salt. There are working ladies in Amsterdam that are less willing to let one score than the Raptors.

just got back from the spurs game

    had a playoff atmosphere

but my boys in black played with some heart tonight

jefferson looked like all star tonight

bogans was huge tonight on defense and knocked down some clutch 3's thanks houston :D

mcdyess was a beast on dirk today and was knocking down shots

hill was running the point guard great while knocking 3's down

bonner finally is rebounding wih 9 rebounds tonigh and will probably coming off the bench to give us a spark

and the spurs once again beat the mavs with two of there best players out

besides the late run with a bunch of fluke shots by dirk he spurs looked like contenders for the first time all season

Good first road win tonight for the boys in black against a good tough rockets team in which I was in the crowd tonight enjoying a spurs win in Houston

Rockets are one of the few teams I respect around this league

mcdyess is starting to look comfortable knocking down those outside shots and playing tough defense and rebounding which we brought him in for

parker had a bad game IMO turned over the ball alot and was forcing too many shots and wasn't getting RJ some possessions

Jefferson had a horrible game because of the great one two punch of ariza and battier so props to them

Hill struggled I think today lowry really is a solid player and killed him at time during times during the game so props to lowry

Bonner sucked and couldn't play against scola

I wish we never traded scola but dang would we be good if we had him next to duncan :(

Duncan played the best IMO starting to look like his oldself and playing great defense and will keep getting better as the season goes along

Mason was the second best player on the spurs today playing great D on ariza and starting to knock down his shots again and not turning the ball over

Blair is coming along the past few games when he plays well the spurs seem to win and played good for the amount of minutes he got but just dumb fouls are killing him but will improve within the season with his beast rebounding and his crazy inside scoring

Bogans had alright game didn't do too much besides play defense in the final 3 quarters because ariza murdered him in the 1st but did a great job defending ariza the rest of the game but his 3 point shot will start going in (it seems he makes every 3 in san antonio but not on the road) and hope he will start attacking the basket more

finley was just finley knocking shots down and playing tough defense but hope spurs could possibly trade him and Ian Mihinmi for maybe another big inside presence player

good game spurs and will go for 5 in a row against the sixers sunday for david robinson appreciation night and no they wont play any videos of hakeem schooling robinson in the 1995 playofs

    go spurs go!

didnt see the game tonight but stat wise we got it done and beat a struggling 6ers team 97-89 on david robinson appreciation night

tim duncan is looking like a mvp candinate with 22 points....dejuan blair had a coming out game tonight with 11 points and 10 rebounds and only had 3 fouls  in 16 minutes...ginobili returned tonight and had 8 points in 16 minutes and made some nice shots in the second half...bonner had 16 points and is playing great at home but cant do **** on the road....jefferson had another struggling game with 7 points but is playing great defense so I give props for that....bogans may be the worst 3 point shooter in the league but heck he can play solid defense ....parker was parker with 16 points and 8 assists so hes starting to pass the ball a little more....finley looked good with 11 points but still wouldnt mind trading him and getting another big guy that can play solid inside with tim and can rebound...mason should be out a few games with some hamstring problem and he was playing so well hope he can come back soon

next game on thursday against the celtics on tnt and the spurs will try to go for the 6th win in a row

    go spurs go :)

Tough loss tonight for the boys in black...we put a hard fought game against the best team in the league who im starting to hate now because of kg and sheed think there bad as far as them f**k them  im glad that dejuan blair schooled them all day long

back to the game it was just a bad game with missed free throws which caused us to lose to boston last year did the same this year and dumb turnovers killed this team...this team needs to get there mondset right and richard jefferson needs to get his head out of his a** and start playing like the $14 million man that we brought in to score but not shoot freakin 3 for 13 tonight  and mdyess didnt do jack either, mason chucking up 3's early in the shot clock when we were coming back.

Just a dumb lose to a team we were supposed to beat tonight o well bright side is that dejuan blair is starting to get it together now we just need jefferson to come back to life

looking foward to saturday game against the nuggets and next tueday in utah against the jazz and after that it should be a smooth ride into the new year with under 500. teams and the only one being against portland at home

    go spurs go

The Spurs just aren't clicking. Before the season, I thought they had a good chance to make the Finals. It's a long season but I'm not sure they will ever put it together.

22 points from Duncan to the contrary, I still think the Spurs have better offense when he's not in the game. I cant quite put a finger on it, its not like the Rockets with Tmac's ballstoppage, but it may be similar to the rockets in that the spurs work harder when they know they don't have a go to big man inside, and they have more room to slash to the basket.

Spurs are a veteran team, but historically they don't play well without home court advantage in playoff. The 3 times they won championships, they have the HCA all the way, except once against Suns in WCF, and that Suns team is young and inexperienced just like Hornets two years ago.

On the other hand, they got ass kicked with HCA against Lakers twice, Mavs twice this decade.

Spurs are not going to get better than No.3 seed IMO. And that means if they are going to finals, they have to win without HCA twice, never happened

Look at these poll results on ESPN http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/fp/flashPollResultsState?sportIndex=frontpage&pollId=83142

1st off: are people crazy? Did they already forget its the Spurs? By the time the playoffs roll around they will be in prime position to shred those teams up.

2: What is up with the Spurs? I haven't seen them play lately, why the poor record? Are things coming together? I do see Blair is averaging 275 rebounds per 48min.

Well you said u havent seen them play so you wouldnt know that they arent that good anymore. Ginobili and Jefferson suck, parker inconsistent, duncan is good but not great. I would bet my money on the Nuggets beating the lakers before the spurs.

I don't need to see em. I know their talent, I know their coach, I know their mentality. This isn't a "what have you done for me lately" situation. You are probably the same type of guy who blasted Pat Riley for acquiring guys like Walker, Posey, Williams, and Payton and then disappeared when he coached that team to a title. I am sorry but a Carmelo Anthony lead team will not be beating the San Antonio Spurs anytime soon. Not when it matters.

Pathetic game last night from parker ginobili and jefferson :(

I dont understand why ginobili dosent tear up phoenix anymore now that raja bell isnt there

mason kept up in the game

duncan has 30 something points and continues to be a suns killer

as upsetting as it is im finally happy pop called out his team I know we almost came back last night down by 20 and cut it down to 1 but there was no effort in the 4th quarter missing layups and making stupid fouls and giving that dragic homo open shots

well thanks for bringing up this thread play the warriors tonight and our next 10 out of 11 games are under .500 teams hopefully we keep beating the teams were supposed to beat this season and get a lil streak going
