Saints have not been good defensively and have always traditionally struggled on the road.

Texans have a good shot if they can move the ball (hopefully use Grimes more) and limit turnovers.

It depends on what offense shows up. The scored 49 on the Giants and then only 42 on the next two weeks combined. Also, they have a new defense coordinator and are coming off a bye; that usually means that unit is going to be passionate and motivated.

I didn't expect TJ Yates to show up and get the Texans back in the chase. I'm not sure anyone expected that. We can all be thankful for Brian Hoyer's concussion.

Oh you know that the defense has been the difference in winning the last two games. After all Yates is only completing 46% of his passes.

Oh that has helped as well, but the improved QB play has also been a part of it. Look at the Bengals game, the Texans didn't get in the end zone till after the Hoyer concussion. Once Yates was in the game, they got into the end zone.

Now it wouldn't have mattered if the defense wasn't playing a great game, but the defense playing a great game wouldn't have mattered if Hoyer stayed in at QB and the Texans never got into the end zone.

Also, when you look just at numbers, sure Yates' completion percentage is super low, but he played 2 VERY good defenses and didn't throw a pick. When it comes to Hoyer's numbers, they are padded by garbage time and play against super weak defenses. In fact, look at the 5 strongest defenses that the Texans have played this year, either Hoyer played like absolute garbage, he didn't play at all, or he didn't play till garbage time in every single one of them.

The Saints are by far the worst defense in the NFL so there's a chance Hoyer does a decent job, but against the Bills we'll need someone better than Hoyer.....which is pretty much any QB that has been on an NFL roster in the last year or two.

He also said Romeo Crennel needed to be fired, that our wr2 and wr3 are the best ever, that we would beat the colts, and that we would lose to the bengals.

And the defense looked terrible for the first half of the season, glad they turned it around, but until they did RAC being fired was a real possibility.

Our WR2 and WR3 are the best that the Texans have ever had.

We still might beat the Colts if Hoyer gets hurt again.

We wouldn't have beat the Bengals without Hoyer getting a concussion.

Wrong on all counts. It's amazing how bad your takes are. If you actually tried to sound dumb, you wouldn't be able to do better.

So why hasn't Mallet been picked up? All this new information about his incredibly quick release and no one has jumped on him

His attitude problems. Non-football reasons are keeping him sidelined for the rest of the year it seems much like Manziel in Cleveland. Of course Mallett is not really relevant to the Texans anymore even if he is still a better QB than Hoyer when it comes to playing the game (but not being on time). Of course given that just about every QB that has been on an NFL roster in the last few years is better than Hoyer it really doesn't say much.

Then why are his career stats worse than Hoyers?

I've explained this to you many times, it's pretty clear that you are over the top in love with Hoyer for some reason and that is preventing you from seeing just how terrible he is at football. It's okay, I don't expect any more than this from you.

Bobby thinks this years Cecil Shorts is better than 2013 DeAndre who had 800+ receiving yards at a 15+ average.

Cecil only has 366 yards with an 11.8 average

You never explained why Mallet stats are worse than Tebow, David Carr, Mark Sanchez, etc.

Yet you keep proclaiming your love for him

    Strange.

You also thin TJ Yates is better than Hoyer. Better than Mallet, yes

Try to work with me here kid, we're talking about depth. Nuk, Shorts, and Washington is better than Nuk, Dre, and no one else. How are you STILL struggling with that? LOL it's just sad.

That was a TE heavy offense by design.

And no, id rather take Andre, DeAndre plus a scrub off the street (which is what Cecil and Nate are)

    You keep embarrassing yourself...

Yea I'd rather have two very good WRs instead of one very good WR and two scrubs.

Oh but you didn't think they were great when Mallet was QB. It was all their fault he sucked amirite?

You've embarrassed yourself enough. Sports talk just isn't for everyone and given that you seem to be the only person in the world that doesn't realize yet that this year's WR corps is the best the Texans have ever had, we should probably just end this now.

It's best this thread stay somewhat on topic rather than being all about your trolling nonsense. Thanks for the effort though.
