I've always found Kubiak to be frank but very, very subtle. You have to sometimes read between the lines a little bit with him; post game quotes in the Chronicle often don't tell the entire story (they tend to focus on his, "it's on me" deflections). But his Monday call-in show, for instance, is must-hear radio, IMO. I usually get a pretty decent sense of who's in his doghouse. Maybe not week-to-week; but cumulatively, you can tell. For instance, he struggled last year down the stretch to contain his frustration with the defense and Bush, specifically. Again, nothing overt – I couldn’t pull any one thing out; it was just a growing sense the more he talked about it. Having said that, he’s never subtle when it comes to injuries: he has no patience for them and is upfront about that.
I suspect it is the effort to rehab and get back on the field that gets the coaches' and fellow player's attention one way or the other.

It's saturday! Wish Foster and Andre would sit out again, but I guess the saints will be the ultimate test since they do play the 49ers next week. Really looking forward to nfl star Kjax going up against saints receivers.

Any pregame updates? Are Joseph, Tate, Foster, Andre, etc. playing? I heard Joseph was 50/50. I heard Andre was playing, Foster and Tate should play, and Cushing was playing. I heard Demeco was out. Anybody have anything to add or correct?
