Ogbannaya? He was somewhat of a bright spot on Monday, but it wasn't exactly a great performance. He caught the ball out of the backfield well but ran the ball poorly (2.2 YPC). If Tate's healthy, he can only hope to maybe be the 4th best RB on the team, and that's only if he can beat out Slaton.
If Tate can run like this during the regular season, I'd like to see us run the ball a lot more. Although Arian was 3rd in the league in rushing attempts, as a team we were 19th. Having two dynamic runners would be awesome. Gary, has shown a tendency to get pass happy and forget about the running game at times. With Foster and Tate both running strong, I hope he breaks out of that mentality.
people that say matt isn't a leader is probably sniffing glue or spray paint, most likely spray paint. With that said, I wouldn't mind seeing each running back with 20 carries! Ay dios mio! Our offensive line is underrated by our own "experts" but recognized by national "experts" go figure. I really like the dimension that Thor brings to the offense and he has been making all the blocks. The Defensive front Seven looks awesome, just got to get Demeco in there healthy. Uh oh, "not this s*** again" is what the offense is thinking. The Dbs mentally breaking down.
Perhaps, but he's a guy who was a 7th round draft choice and had less that 600 yards rushing in his college career, less than 400 in his senior season. He played in 2 games for St. Louis in 2009 and then was on our practice squad last year. It's not the kind of resume that makes you think he's going to do something in the league.
