No guy in their right mind would do it. If Gobert can get them those picks, you bet Fox could net you many as well. Fox is probably Irving lite without the crazy head and still getting better.
I was joking, of course. Like I said, I like the Kings fanbase. But that doesn't mean I don't want Stone to fleece them like Morey did in the past. That organization has been dumb for so long. If we don't rob them, somebody else will.
Makes you wanna cry seeing Silas vs this. Mike Brown has come a long way in his coaching career, best thing to happen to the Kings
Agree but taking a step back: How hilarious is it that this simple moment of decent coaching and player understanding is an "awesome moment" in the NBA now?
Lower IQ players coming into the league while also being almost uncoachable sometimes leads to moments like these being so impactful. But also, anytime one person seems genuinely happy for the success of another, even when on the same team, is an awesome moment.
So agree with this part! On the IQ, I don't think it's really lack of actual IQ for anybody, (unless our entire species is getting dumber, which is actually possible), but definitely bball IQ is dropping across the board starting in youth sports on up. You don't get noticed and you don't get to the next levels by taking charges, making great bounce passes, etc, etc. Just need a mix tape of 1-on-1 moves, 3-pointers, and maybe some blocked shots.
100% agree. I meant lower bball IQ, which is expected as college basketball becomes less important for NBA teams and younger players who are regarded as high ceiling players because of their athletism are the priority.
Damn! Sabonis looking like the young, pre-injuries version of his old man in those highlights. Fun to see.
If'n you don't know, they have a purple laser light show that revs up each time they win. Light the Beam “I just like the notion that this just goes into outer space,” Kings owner Vivek said.
@Reeko .. Is there some kinda friction brewing with D'Aaron Foxx and Mike Brown? I ask cause you watch em more than I do , but I stay in tune with Foxx does ( box score wise).. But I notices he ain't going nuclear mode like he was in the early part of the season.. I've noticed he only taking 10-15 shots lately , if that.. Are they trying to get him more to incorporate traditional point guard duties as opposed to getting off?
