Beal's low percentage was a shock because he's been balling this year. Basketball-reference updated and Russ is now .365 and Beal .340

Yeah I'll definitely take the under on Russ finishing .365 or ahead of Bradley.

I'm not complaining about Eastbrook's win over Harden and Durant, Irving. It was Beal who was the real closer in the game. The Nets don't play much defense.

The Nets are trying to build around Harden/Kyrie/Durant on the fly and address flaws.

Bringing in Shumpert and rumored to want a trade for JJ Redick. Redick is currently shooting 29% from 3.

It’s just so hard to add talented players around stars during the season. LeBron found that out as he committed to the Lakers so late in free agency and other free agents committed to other teams.

So we might get a pick in the early 20’s instead of 29 or 30. Whoaoooo. I believe Kuzma and Mitchell Robinson
were both 30th pick of their respected drafts.

Jimmy Butler too was the 30th pick from his draft class. A player of his caliber would be amazing for us.

It doesn't matter. Any loss of the Nets is good for our Rockets.

he looks like he's finally over that injury. he had that extra burst. its true the nets defense is bad, but he is back to playing how he was midseason for us last year before the quad injury. we'll see if he can keep it up. i give russ props, i still think wall is better for our team than him, but if russ can keep playing like last night. we might end up regretting trading him. His three point shot looked smooth too. like he improved his mechanics. or he finally recovered from his injury and has more lift.

I still like Harden a lot, but my feelings are torn about him. I would be happy if he won a NBA championship, but I'm very unhappy how he left Houston despite our shortcomings. I do believe the Nets will do well, but if their weak defense doesn't improve, they will lose. This will increase their frustration, and our picks will become stronger.

Yep, the pick situation is too complicated to me for now, I am going to check after the season.

I don't think his mechanics have improved but he has regained more lift. Keeping him without Harden, wouldn't have helped Wood. Russ doesn't execute the P/ R well enough, nor is he a particularly good passer despite his triple doubles. His defense is average at best.

Beal's 3pt% has dropped in recent years. Maybe it has to do with having to carry the team night in and night out. (I.D.I.O.T. ;))

After the Westbrook/wall trade, I thought the wizard would easily make the playoffs in the East.

Instead they've been one of the worst in the league. WB claims he was playing on one leg and is finally healthy after last night's Nets game.

Not having watched that or any other Wizards game I wonder if that's true... Did he look like playoff rockets WB or did he look like Jan-march rockets WB?
