[OFFICIAL] Russell Westbrook as a Washington Wizard

Bummer. But I guess it wasn't going to last forever. Lol

 

No coincidence that they win their first game when he sits. His game sucks. He is a stat padder times 100.

 

When he and Durant were together they obviously won a lot of games but his flaws couldn't be covered up late in the playoffs.

There is nothing negative about the rebounding. Assists however can come at the expense of the offense running smoothly. That being said his biggest problem with Durant was not getting Durant the ball late in games when he was being unstoppable. Westbrook would come down with the ball with a look of him feeling it was his time to shoot

I will say Westbrook did defer to Harden as pg. The two of them just aren't good enough and that falls on Westbrook as they are MVP caliber players. Westbrook isnt a consistent enough shooter being the second best player at 2 guard and he is a terrible 3 point shooter. I didn't realize how bad a 3 point shooter he is till now. Last four seasons under 30%, 25% so far this season

 

Is Ish Smith a better PG than Westbrook?

Can the Rockets bring Ish back? He only makes $6m and is on an expiring deal.

 

Wizards lucky to have Westy. Westy sacrficed and sat out for the team to win and concentrate on preparation / practice instead. @dmoneybangbang

MVP’s are regular season trophies best believe. That playoffs/finals MVP is the crowning glory Personal trophy.

 

12 and 60 sounds about right for the season. Maybe they catch fire and win 15 or 20. They ran out of bullets long ago in Washington. Gheorghe Muresan where have you gone?

Lol wizards beat the nets! Russ and Beal were not good for 3 quarters but did well enough in the 4th. That backcourt shot 16/50

 

Westbrook> Durant

 

7/25 overall and 1/7 from 3, shot more 3's than any starter. So thankful this is no longer our problem. Mind boggling an NBA star would want to play with this guy.

 

Apparently the way the wizards win is to keep the ball out of Westbrook’s hands. Terrific coach adjustment to tell him not to get a triple double.

 

He really got blessed tonight. Terrible shooting.... and KD missed an easy mid-range, which he would normally make, to win the game.

Give it a few months and the fans of the Wizards will hate his game. He'll do a few dumb things that'll cost them a few games.

 

A total of 51 points. Imagine if Wall and Harden had 50 attempts.

 

There is no way he stays with Washington next season.

He will grow to hate Bradley Beal, Thomas Bryant Earning his Rebounds in which Russell can't steal his Rebounds away.
