So according to that article in the athletic, The “Brentwood war room” looked at names like Lillard and Beal, but ultimately decided that the best player to help them in the playoffs was Westbrook.

Either
A: That means you have the worst war room in the league
Or most likely
B: what they really mean is we truly wish we could have gotten Lillard or Beal, but quickly realized we would have to settle for Russ and we are really praying we can have a basketball miracle happen for us this season.

 

With AD at the 5 russ is still a dangerous player. AD is like a superstar version of PJ tucker. The only real question is perimeter defense with all these old guys. Lebron will have the ball in crunch time so they wont live and die with WB decision making. Either way this is going to be must see tv

I'm surprised that anyone thought that Russ wasn't washed. His athletism is fading and that's what his game was solely based around. Between Melo and him Lebron will lose his 5 remaining hair follicles
