    Everyone right now just wants to dump on Baker right now- and I have some criticisms of the Astros this season. They knew about the WBC, they knew early on that McCullers and Garcia were toast and still didn’t do much. Just a lack of being proactive.

    Having said that - this team, especially the pitching, is exhausted. The staff was #1 through the first 1/3 of the season and just progressively got worse.

    The Astros ran out of gas - had a lot of bad luck and so it goes-

    I don't know if I want them to make the WC - I just don't see the benefit, they should come back angry at their collapse.....and we need to move some veterans......that just don't have it anymore.....

    Quit is a strong word. I don't think Pressly quit in his blown save to Baltimore. Hunter Brown or France do not seem like quitter to me especially considering their age.

    Losing 7 of 9 to 100 loss teams is quitting. I hate hearing myself say that. But if they don't come back strong the next six games it's a harsh reality.
