So if we are just looking at pitching, which of Tampa, Boston, NYY, CWS or Oakland has a significantly better staff? Only the White Sox have a better ERA from their starters, and it's an insignificant difference. I'm disappointed with how we have played the last several days, and I have little confidence in Dusty But we match up with any AL playoff team starting pitching wise
There is not another team on planet Earth that would have Diaz hitting 3rd over Correa. Unless Dusty is the manager, I guess.
have you kept up with the hitting since diaz has returned and correa in that span? correa hasn't exactly been in greatest of stretches
I have and can't disagree with that, albeit a very small sample since Diaz has been out. Correa will be fine over the long haul, and some fastballs to see in front of Yordan might do him some good. If he swings his bat at them, of course.
I actually don't hate Correa in that cleanup spot too much. We know he tends to like the opportune moments. If guys in front of him can give him some traffic hopefully he can get out of this little funk sooner rather than later
Agreed, I still wonder about Dusty. At some point he needs to start playing his regulars everyday. Plus figure out who his go to guys are in the bullpen.
The CSW and maybe Tampa. Bottom line is if the starters can give 5 or 6 innings the bullpen can take the team home. I do believe the starters will bounce back. I'm more worried about the lineup.
