I'm tired of waiting for the thread. Its opening day! 4-6 Wandy Rodriguez, LHP vs. Jeremy Guthrie, RHP 4-7 Lucas Harrell, RHP vs. Jamie Moyer, LHP 4-8 Bud Norris, RHP vs. Juan Nicasio, RHP LWW
They placed Lowrie on the DL, will miss this series and next. Looks like Marwin Gonzalez will be our opening day SS. Bixler replaces Lowrie on the 25-man.
Here are the 9 people who will be heading out on the field in the top of the 1st tonight. I'm feeling 2 out of 3 here.
ya know, aside from the lack of power, once lowrie returns, that's actually not all that unexciting of a lineup. nice to see castro finally in the lineup. hope he pans out. agree with 2 of 3. hope springs eternal.
All of you predicting 2 of 3 are homers. We'll be lucky to take 1 of 3. With that said I've got tickets to Saturday night's game and can't wait to get back to the ballpark. Let's go 'Stros!
LW(14inn)W(10inn) Why would you make both MLB.com free games 10 pm West Coast games on Good Friday? How does that make any sense?
Since my new roommate is a die hard Yankees fan, the Stros better be watching this year to keep me sane.
I'm basing my 2 out of 3 because of the matchups. Moyer is ancient, and in his last season (2010) posted an ERA of 4.84, and in 2009 it was 4.94. I'm trusting in Bud all year long.
IDK, they said Bixler a week ago was the next guy up. Bixler is the more versatile player, and has power, so he certainly has advantages over Sanchez.
WLL-don't want to be debbie downer but lets me realistic, the Astros are on their way to the 2013 #1 overall pick.
