His ERA without the bad start is 4.34... and his start today was pretty much in line with what he's been doing all season (which is not as good as he was last year... but certainly not bench-worthy). Not sure what your point is other than to go down swinging (literally) that you jumped the gun on the "bench McHugh!" bandwagon.
He was pretty ecstatic in post-game just to have gotten that first hit the other day...he's gotta be on cloud nine right now.
Doesn't seem entirely necessary to have Neshek pitch right now with a 5-run lead, after pitching yesterday and Monday as well.
It seems to me that he is superb athlete. All of that herky jerk lines up perfectly at time of weight transfer. It is really impressive on how he can control those pitches with that windup.
