No evidence?........ Luhnow has traded or effectively released 4 of Wade's 7 first round draft picks (Lyles, DDJr, Folty, Kvasnicka) while burying a 5th (Jio Mier) behind an avalanche of middle infielder selections. And he's jettisoned 9 of the 13 players Wade acquired for Berkman/Bourn/Oswalt/Pence that kicked off this rebuild (Cosart, Zeid, Happ, Wallace, Melancon, Parades, Schafer, Abreu, Clemens). Altogether, there are two players (Altuve and Castro) still on the roster who were here on opening day 2011, and there are only 10 players on the Astros' 40-man roster that Luhnow didn't draft/acquire (with Buchann and Villar likely dropping off sooner rather than later; neither certainly figures into the team's future). Keep in mind, Luhnow has been here 2.5 years. It's been a fairly significant turnover. Not wholly, and I never claimed as much - but they've wiped out a significant portion of what Wade started to build here. They're not dumb or irresponsible; they'll keep guys that can play. But the evidence seemingly suggests they didn't have a lot of value for Wade's regime. Again with the no evidence?... You really have a bad habit of speaking in absolutes; if often backs you into corners... I never said, and don't believe I suggested, they were biased. They likely are - again, MOST regimes are going to be biased towards their personnel, methods, etc; that's human nature. But I think there's enough evidence to suggest that they didn't grade Wade's work very highly, based on the rapid amount of top-down turnover they've instituted throughout the organization in a very short amount of time.
I don't know what gamelogs you're looking at to say Hernandez is better, but the 2 guys have had similar seasons in many ways. Except that McHugh more often makes it at least 6 innings and has some upside, which we've seen pretty recently.
aren't dallas and springer from the other regime also? back to the game, mchugh settling down. i love it when pitchers can get out of jams.
Great 0 for McOuch in the third, big one, i like the way he pitched to Cargo, fastballs high, and if he walks him, so be it, do not let him hit, better walk him
Good sign.

#Astros had a 3.0 Nielsen rating for Rockies game last night on @ROOTSPORTSSW. Hernandez has a lower ERA. Im not saying Hernandez is better...but Colin has been horrid for a good number of starts now. If we are benching Hernandez for poor performance, we should be able to bench McHugh for the same thing.
Stop calling him mcOuch...it does nothing to further the discussion, your argument, or your own intelligence.
