Marisnick has been in a month long slump and I feel the beginning of the season was more of a fluke than anything else. This team needs all the good hitters they can get with all the strike out kings so if the other three outfielders are hitting well, Marisnick needs to be the 4th outfielder. Springer Dinger!

Correa's plate discipline is incredible for someone his age.

It really is a luxury to have 3 guys capable of playing CF out there... Marisnick is still going to play quite a bit, but he's going to sit some when they face right-handed pitchers.

The thing is he hits righties better than lefties

But Rasmus does not hit lefties as well as righties.

(and please look at career splits... he's had a paltry sample size vs. lefties this year).

    Tucker hits lefties very well.

Now, about the lineup, i really like the way this lineup is hitting, once Altuve plays again, should we move Springer and Correa from that 1 and 2 punch????

Springer is so easily the best player on this team

yeah, I think he will evolve more to a hit for contact guy (less KOs) and look to get on base with his speed. I like the mixture of speed & his bat in our lineup. Rasmus still seems to swing for the fences too much though I'm on board with him too. I hear what you are saying, I guess this is a good problem to have and hopefully they all hit their stride at the same time.

I always thought that if Rasmus was doing well by the trade deadline, they'll look to move him since he's part of a one -year deal

Okay... and that's why I was talking about Rasmus/Marisnick platooning, not Tucker.

I wouldn't worry too much about the lineup "order"... it really only makes a difference in the first 2-3 innings max.

As long as Springer is getting on base at an elite clip, you want Correa (and the other extra-base threats) batting behind him.

Springer has only scratched the surface of what he can be and he is already moving up: 9 homers .270 BA

The guy is probably going to be a 40 home run guy. Correra, Altuve and Springer and our unreal pitchers this team is going to be unreal.
