I forgot to mention that we’ll also be shown clips of Amen Thompson splashing jumpers against air in an empty gym and delude ourselves into thinking his jumper looks improved from the one that was tossing up airballs and beating up the backboard over at OTE when in reality his jumper is still the exact same

Nah it isn’t. Absolute disaster from the results tonight. Folks want to try and convince themselves of this nonsense just because. Nah. This was never some deep draft. A failure landing this trash pick. Imagine sucking so bad for years and all you have to show for it is someone like amen. Comical

We got top 5 pick in a pretty good draft.

The doom and gloom is weird to me.

Imagine how bad it's going to be when ESPN does countdown to Wembanyama debut in October and hype it to the edge of the known universe - as they should.

Meanwhile we - roll out a Thompson plus the current squad, and dissect his 5 points and 3 assists in the GARM while getting trucked by Denver by 30 on opening night.

"Still a lot of work to do," said Udoka at his postgame comments. "Just gotta learn to keep working on what we worked on" said Porter Jr, in his 3rd season as the starting Rockets point guard.

We could also trade the pick for John Collins?

Top 5 pick in a top 3 class where the real prizes are is terrible

I can’t get an answer. Why would the NBA rig it that San Antonio, one of the smallest markets, cheat to give them a pick. It is a really stupid theory.

The doom and gloom is justified.

    San Antonio, man!

I’m not a Jabari only fan, but I do think he will have a better career than this media born bean pole that will fail in the NBA.

We could. He'd probably put up a better season than whoever gets drafted at 4, that's for sure

For sure. Two years ago we had a 48% chance to lose our pick and could’ve had an elite young player in Mobley and got a prospect who still has a lot of upside in Jalen.

It just suck the Spurs have tanked twice and get two generational top picks.

Not to mention somehow turning George Hill into one of the best players in the NBA

You should see how downtown San Antonio looks right now. Makes me sick they think they are talented getting 1st pick overall!

Not really. There’s levels to a draft and the top 3 are easily above tiers of the next group. no matter how much folks tell themselves a long list of guys are elite and great. That’s not reality.

it’s going to be pathetic if they decide to keep this pick

MKG with better playmaking or more athletic MCW could be his bust scenarios

Thompson’s shooting isn’t as hopeless as MKG’s tho, that man shot the ball like he had a dislocated shoulder
