Yea i think he's pretty fundamental from what i seen of him on Youtube. He's like Doug Christie in terms of defense. Not sure about his offense yet.

Like how last year giving up their starting point guard for a third string PG was giving up on the season? If so, I like Morey and Alexander giving up on the season. It somehow makes our team better. That year, and the years following.

Anyone remember when did Landry burst out into the scene in his rookie year? Maybe just maybe Hill will have the same impact sooner than later.

Anyone that doesn't think this deal was a grand slam of epic proportions either doesn't know a thing about the NBA, or Morey pissed on their grandmother or something.

    I think i jizzed 4 times.

I am so excited about Jordan Hill, it is so nice to have a prospect who has all the physical tools, i love his length and hope RA can develop him into a good player.

    Kmart=j*zz

I had Hilton on the Rox in NBA 2k10, so thats cool too

sucks giving up Carl but when you think of all the stuff we got back it is worth it.

who cares about the knicks........you really think they'll sign lebron of wade? cause it's those 2 and everyone else is a tier below.......and you're worried about mcgrady re-signing with ny? first off he'd have to take such a massive paycut it would never happen, and even if he did, he's finished anyway.

Have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. Morey couldn't have worked this out any better IMO.

I mean think about it people. We gave up 3 players and recieved 4 players and two picks!

The Rox will probably acquire Chris freaking Bosh in the offseason, create a championship contender and people will still complain about something.

Not all though - we want them to get the #2 pick not #1. Though with their luck they could lose all of their games and stick get unlucky in the ball hopper.

And I would agree that if they do get the #1, then the swap goes away.

Although I've read a ton of articles/thoughts by professionals and non-professionals about this trade, I really enjoyed reading yours the first thing this morning. Good job.

Precise and spot on. I can't see how anyone doesn't love this trade.

Woah, there, ArtV!!! Did you not read the VERY NEXT PARAGRAPH in my post that you are quoting?

"(FYI, to anyone thinking that they don't want the Knicks to lose TOO much and have the worst record in the league for fear of them getting the #1 overall pick and the Rockets losing their swap right, even the worst team in the league only has a 25% chance at the #1 pick. Go ask Sacramento, which had the league's worst record last year yet ended up picking #4. Sure, they got Evans. But, still.)"

You need to look at it this way: The Knicks having the league's absolute worst record next year greatly increases the chance of them getting the #2 or #3 pick. You'd be talking about a 25% chance of losing that pick swap, but you're also talking about a 75% of getting either the #2, #3 or #4 pick.

    I'll take those odds, thanks.

    Just to add to that.

The worst team almost never wins the lottery.

FYI, Jonathan Feigen once again confirming the 2012 pick protection. I'm adding this because he specifically says he doesn't know about the 2011 pick swap going away or not, but he's going to check with the Rockets on that. Still, I imagine that it just goes away if the Knicks get the #1 pick.

The Clips selected Blake, a solid pick by all expectations - then Griffin Clippered his knee. (I hope he comes back strong; really good guy.) Thabeet is a nice looking rotational 5, 20-25 mpg. Rubio is tomorrow's news. Harden? I wouldn't cry over his upside. And what's the kid who 'forced' Martin to become a Rock? Yeah, Top Tier picks aren't all #1s. And if the pick moves the Rox up just a couple of spots might that not erase the near hits but misses of guys like Roy and Fernandez?

I care about the Knicks. Win out in '10; screw the Jazz. Lose out in '10-'11; help the Rox. Yeah, I care.

LBJ is a Knick OF Nike convinces him to be a Knick IMHO. IF they also sign Bosh then how much of an upgrade is he over Lee? Upgrade, yes - but enough?
TMac resigns with Knicks 'on the (relative) cheap' (sic); good move for him and Knicks. I don't think he's finished - and if this situation bought him a head then he'll have very productive years going forward (elsewhere than H-Town).
