    Hey Khalil (can I call you by your first name) :D -

    I'm thinking about meeting up with some friends tonight and we are looking for something in the downtown area. None of us are big karaoke fans though, so I was wondering what it is like there on Fridays. Is the Karaoke really loud and the focal point of the bar, or are there other areas to hang out/watch the game? Also, what are the drink specials like? Thanks!

    ya.. all these are badass ideas.. me and all my friends are always at Live. Desi people tend to love throwing parties there. Finally I turn 21 next month, so I wont have to use fake ids anymore!! haha Ill be sure to say whats up next time I am there Khalil...

    We got the happy hour that goes all the way till 7pm that has $2 beers and $6 pitchers, $3 wells. After that it goes back to regular price which is about $9 a pitcher for domestics.

    Of course make sure to interduce yourself so i can give you a discount on your tab and get this promotion rolling until i have a more definent idea of what i am gong to do for the season.

    I'm in. I too believe Live is one of the best sports bars in town. I guess you know that since I was there this week. I'm looking forward to the season.


    For those that haven't been there... I recommend the pizzas and the FSU platter (I think that's what you call it).

    Well clutch didn't mind my last viewing party that i did for the Clutch Fans. I have said many times that i am trying to do this for the community and give back to Clutch Fans Tip Jar. BUt i am more than willing to have the thread deleted or anything if it is a violation.

    Ill Apologize to anyone if i did something wrong by doing this.

    Umm there is only 2 managers that work the night shift after 4 pm.

    One is myself im 6 foot middle eastern looking guy, crazy spiky hair or wearing a hat most of the time lol, the other one looks like a troll and has long hair so you can't miss him.

    The only days i am not there is Monday and Thursday.

    Hey guys, just got back from Stack 24's place. It is nice!!!! I saw the Astros vs Brewers game. I had the wings and fries and a couple of crown and cokes. Stack picked up my first round and then gave me a discount. We got two plates of wings and fries, 2 crown and cokes, and a sprite for $20. Not to mention some pretty hot waitresses there. There are TV's everywhere and a upstairs where someone was jamming hip hop and there is a private room downstairs with its own bar; along with of course the main bar. We were not only watching the Astros game on one of the big screens but next to it was the Cubs game on the other big screen. Some of the other little tvs (and there are a bunch) had on either the astros game or cubs game. I didn't go upstairs, but will next time. This place is nice, I liked it a lot and am looking forward to the upcoming Rockets season. It is easy to find and the people that go there are usually sports enuthasists. It is a good crowd. Hope to see you guys there...

    By the way, Thanks Stack for everything. I couldn't find you when I left to thank you personally. The food was great and I will be there in the future with my boys to watch the games. Laters....

    Stack the discount card idea is just fine. Maybe have waitresses wear rockets shirts on the days of the games. The skimpier the better. :) Maybe on the cards you could have certain code numbers for tracking purposes and do raffles during the games to win rockets stuff. i.e. autographed shirts etc. for cfnet members.

    Live is a great place I used to go there all the time when I stayed in downtown. The pizzas, chics, pool tables… You have a very nice set up and I look forward to coming in there more often. I have a feeling this is going to be a great year for rockets fans.

    Okay regular Cosmos - $7 Bucks Downtown (of course your going to get a discount on top of the bill based on the card) Since that is not a happy hour item.

    Address - 407 Main Street a few blocks from minute maid park.

    As for the cheese steak, the only kind we have is a chicken philly that most people have liked. We are really known for our pizzas, but everything on the menu is good.
