Maybe you can have a special drink for each Rockets game?

    Like the TMac tecate special.
And whatever that Chinese beer is that I see every so often.

(Yeah, I prefer beer over liquor. What of it???)

Man, some of you guys seem kinda greedy. The man's offering a special discount and accomodations based on the fact that you POST ON A MESSAGE BOARD.

Drink specials do me no good, but I'm not looking for a discount really anyway. It's cool hanging out with some of you who seem as obsessed about sports as I am. :p

I'll have my chicken tenders and coke, while enjoying my Rockets game amongst 10s/100s of other CC.net-ers.

Anyway, I'm down for whatever...I'll be making my way down to Live for many more games than I did this year.

My only problem with Live at the Rox viewing party I went to was the parking, but you can park pretty much anywhere in downtown and catch the train now.

I might be able to come up with some ideas for a card, do you have a website where I can download some art?

EDIT: Nevermind on the website...found it.

i do a lot of graphics design myself but way to busy to actually put something together. I actually did the website myself so if you want the actual logo art let me know and i can send you a good copy of it. Just give me your email.

Of course i can't call it official clutch fans or anything like that unless i get the premession of mr clutch himself. So can't put any of his logo stuff on their just yet.

Is it the last stop? I live a block away from a MetroRail pick-up. That would be awesome.

I think this is a really good idea Stack. A place for all of us rabid fans to just hang out and enjoy the game and meet alot of the guys we have yet to meet would be alot of fun.

I guess since what everyone is basically suggesting is some sort of drink/food special (naturally) one good idea would be to have a special on beer during the game. You mentioned BW3 earlier, and one thing that makes that place cool is that they have a special on beer during Astros game. Im not particularly sure if thy have it during Rockets games but I would assume so. So, maybe doing something like having your pitchers on a special price would probably be a hit.

I turn 21 in a couple weeks so ill definitely be there. haha

Hey Stack, I have been to Live many times during the off season, always had a good time and the prices were already reasonable without any specials. So any Special that you come up with is fine with me. I would guard against anything too public or loud as you don't want to tick off the non-Clutch fans in the house. I mean, a card that you present to the waittress should be enough. Khalil can just come up with a discount rate and that should be fine. Something simple like that should work the best.

If you have never been to Live, it is at Main and Preston, next to the Subway. Really nice place, impressive place for a casual date and usually there are some nice looking women in the place as well. The food is really good, especially the several types of pizzas. You also can go up to the roof and chill out up there. If I am downtown and want a drink or a bite to eat, I usually head over to there.

Speaking of which, Stack, how old do you have to be to get in? I'm 18 right now, so would that be ok as long as I don't get a drink?

    Stack,

I've been to your place a number of time and it has alway been a good time. I work a few minutes away, so regular specials on drinks would definitely bring me in even more during Rockets games. I would suggest offering cheap pitchers or $10 buckets (bring us in in numbers). Also it may be not be financially responsible to give away all the stuff suggested, but how about offering a decent pair of tickets to the Orlando game. The more often you show up, the more entries you get into the drawing. Just some thoughts.

Man, there's plenty of parking down Texas Ave. that is free (for now) at the meters. Particularly on nights when the 'stros aren't playing at home.

Live is my favorite sports bar, period. I go there fairly often. Watched March Madness with a group of guys from this website there. Have taken my son in there on Sunday afternoons to watch football. If I'm inside the loop catching a drink, 9 times out of 10 I'm doing it at Live. I would gladly welcome the idea of some sort of discount card!! :)
