Hahah, the symbolism of that is awesome. We're like the annoying girl that never leaves you alone, until you say, "**** it....I guess I'll go out with her."

Haha are you serious? I wonder if next they'll send him some flowers and promise to wear something sexy.

    You're logic doesn't make sense.

The only way that we get Bynum is in a three way deal that sends Howard to
    LA, correct?

In that 3-way deal, Orlando still has to get what it thinks is fair value for Howard.

Orlando wants a combination of draft picks, young players with upside and cap relief?

After the Nash trade, LA doesn't have any draft picks or trade exceptions to use.

LA doesn't have any young players to send to Orlando.

LA has no cap space to absorb salaries from Orlando.

So, in order to get Bynum then we have to still have to send some combination of young players/picks and absorb the Orlando contracts.

It's pretty much the exact same deal for us except that we get Bynum rather than Howard.

Honestly I don't understand how ppl here are so stuck on non superstar players?! If we let scola go and we get Dwight freaking Howard how can you not be ecstatic about that... Dwight is way better than any rockets we currently have or any rocket we had in the past 2 years

half a season of him playing just to say " atleast least he was a rocket for 3 months" before he leaves? You guys are on crack and dont even think about rockets future. All draft picks will be gone for next season as well as our young players. 2+ years without first round draft picks an be the laughing stock of the nba

Been saying this. A three way deal for Bynum is basically us trading for Dwight and then trading Dwight for Bynum. I mean there may be some more moving parts than that and the Lakers may take on a contract, but we'd still be the team giving up the assets.

This probably means nothing also, but Dwight Howard followed me on Twitter a few months ago when I tweeted him #Dwight2Houston.

Should I send him a DM?

He looked like Tim Duncan against the Eskimo National Team.

    Misleading simplistic statement.

    1. There is nothing wrong with loving hardworking role players.
    2. We don't know if the superstars are coming.

Your criticism would be valid if we traded Scola for Howard AND HE STAYED FOR MORE THAN A SEASON and people were still complaining.

I kind of think the three team deal that gets Houston Bynum is what is going to happen. It makes more sense to me then investing this much just for a one year rental.

Seriously, I don't understand it either. I feel like I'm in Bizarro World right now. Are we NOT talking about DWIGHT HOWARD here?? I mean.....aren't we supposed to be jumping up and down right now?? We're talking about giving up rookies we've never seen play, and people are acting like we're blowing up some championship team.

In order to acquire Charles Barkley, we had to give up ROBERT HORRY AND SAM CASSELL. You have to PAY to get stars.

Since what you are describing is prohibited by the NBA CBA, I'll go out on a limb and say that this will not happen.

Can't follow a player? Ha what? Yeah they can.

Rockets are just following all of the current players. ;)
