Leonard averaged 15pts a game and gave up 30+ppg vs Lebron. He won because he had 3 HOFs playing and another one coaching. The guy was a role player.

CP3? The guy who has not had as much success as Harden and has had much better teams? The guy who lost a 3-1 lead to Harden? The guy that led the team that Harden put up 30 points on in a game 7 and won the series? The guy who just lost again to Harden in a 7 game series? Why the hell are bringing up CP3?
I really like the way Coach Silas handled those questions. I'm excited to root for this guy. Honestly, since I was not keen on hiring McHale or MDA, and since the Adelman hire (who was great) was bitter-sweet for me cause i liked JVG, this is the first coach i've been excited about in a very long time.
CP3 old a$$ shouldn't even be on Westbrook/Harden level at this stage of his career but the mental and discipline aspect of basketball is important to certain players and that keeps them in games they shouldn't even be in.
EGo USG% (22% to 23%) does not increase much from regular season to postseason but EGo becomes more inefficient in postseason, especially last years playoffs when he was +0.1 in regular season and -4.4 in postseason. Last 2 season prior: 2018-2019: +5.1 regular, +0.7 post 2017-2018: +8.5 regular, -0.1 post Rockets need someone who is a clear positive on court when the games count in postseason. Rockets need to upgrade from EGo to take next step.
CP3 unfortunately is also the same excuse of man that's used for Harden not getting to the finals in 2018 and 2019 lol. Then CP3 was actually the guy that closed Utah out in the 2nd round that year to get to the showdown against GS. Understandably GS was just super great. CP3 gave the team the mentality it needed and I know that isn't appreciated until your in a situation the Rockets are in now.

Yeah I respect his talent and skill. When Allen Iverson left Philly and went to Denver it wasn't too long before it just all ended. It would be nice if Harden win here but if he wants to leave hey... it is what it is. For him I just hope he changes his attitude, adjusts his game and make the necessary sacrifices needed to win the big games. Otherwise he'll have to Gary Payton his way to a championship.
Harden has to get some minutes into him and to really increase his cardiovascular training .The first game of the season is only like 6 days away. The rust will never be an issue but his conditioning has to improve for him to be able to play high minutes that is just a fact.
