If I had to bet money, it would be that he is moved..... but the fact he is in camp, practiced and appears willing to practice with the team leaves open the possibility that he will be won over to stay.
Nah. Translation: "I'm not going to be the one to tell the media what's really going on. I'd rather not start any **** in my first month here.."
I feel like It's unlikely he stays. Harden works out on the regular with other NBA players, I think he has a good gauge of how good they are. He probably doesn't see Wall as enough support to win a championship. Didn't he just play a couple of pickup games recently with Wall and Ariza.
You got to communicate to them that they shouldn't use a sports team to just make profit, priority should be enjoying spending and watching it winning big games. Some of the big hitters are as competitive as Tilman, cutting cost here and there, driving the price up and selling it to the highest bidder again. That shouldn't be the concept. It should be an expensive project. The owner has to love and know every intricacy of bball, love the people, love serving people and not lowballing subordinates. And he should be extremely empathetic, while being extremely smart.
Wall has changed his stance on Harden for sure wanting to be here to he will do what’s best for him and the FO will do the same. Interesting.
Cousins is a former superstar the longer contract doesnt mean **** to him if its like a garbage deal. He will go for another 1 yr deal in the worst case scenario. It all depends on how healthy he is but for example if Cousins comes out with 20 14 you think he wont get like 9M a year? Midlevel is only 5M a year, if Cousins is decent he'll get more than that.
Morey inherited a team with no capspace, two old and injured stars, the oldest roster in the NBA and an owner who didnt want to tank for assets. He transformed that into a perennial contender. Stone doing an amazing job so far has no connection with Morey's previous performance.
Yeah, he is dog. Once he commits, he is in. They should put a moratorium on trade talks until after the season.
