KD probably talked to Harden about winning rings this off-season. Something along the lines of, "you'll never be remembered for anything unless you win a chip!" Look how quick the media immediately began to suck KD's dick after his first bandwagon ring with the Warriors, on ESPN everyone was quick to declare KD the best player in the league.

A trade for simmons even with zero picks would be great imo... That's how bad it is. Reality is, there hasn't been many teams all that interested in giving up much for Harden. I doubt Harden would sit out. Very few nba players would sit out at the cost of their salary. Iggy did, but only because MEM stupidly agree to it and paid him to do so. However, not sitting out doesn't mean Harden can't make it bad for the Rockets. He could create a toxic team environment and be vocal about his desire to play ONLY for the Nets.
Notice that you don't see that stuff in Miami with Riley. When it came time, he even put limits on LeBron. I want someone like that for the Rockets. All this pampering sh*t has gotten on my nerves.
