Its not on me, not on us
we can only win when everybody thinks "It's on me", i do like the fact that T-mac is thinking it is on him now, but i wish at the begining of next playoff there will be more players in the team think the same thing.

What? What does any of that have to do with McGrady and Yao having a problem with the "distribution of scoring" as you put it?

We have not made it out of the first round because everyone other than Yao or McGrady can not hit their shots. Not because McGrady or Yao have a problem with the each other's scoring. That does not make any sense whatsoever. You're changing the subject and not making sense.

McGrady said it was on "him" because he created 70-80% of the shots during that series. Because he had a problem with Yao and the "distribution of scoring"? NO. That was how Jeff had the offense set up, not because of some unseen reason or whatever you want to come up with now.

I would not hate the Dream he at least is faithfull to the Rockets and wishes them to do well. Kenny just doesn't seem to wish the Rockets anything good and no I don't want him to pick the Rockets to win the Championship every year, just talk some good about the team like Magic and Barkley do.

Barkley can talk about the Suns because they're good. Magic can talk about the Lakers because they *were* good when they were up 3-1 against the Suns. Kenny doesn't say anything about us because there is nothing to say. Magic and Barkley say the same thing about us that Kenny says. you people need to stop whining and get a grip.

I appreciate what Kenny Smith did for the Rockets and the role he played in winning it all but the dude has always been a damn chump who walked around like he was God's gift back then and still does today. At least Magic and Chuck offer some kinda constructive criticism or "tough love" towards the Lakers and Suns when they don't do well but you can tell they're still loyal to the franchises--Kenny on the other hand, seems to wanna make his name on bashing the Rox any chance he gets just to be part of the "in-crowd" or whatever--the guy is a punk!

where are the examples of bashing the Rockets?
you know he keeps mentioning the old championships. that doesn't seem like bashing to me.

i'm not going to be some boring posters, I owe that to my fellow Clutchfans!

I'm not giving you any Clyde Drexler Gazelle posts, I'm giving you the Calvin Murphy / Gene Peterson cursing on the radio posts.

    why?
cause he's highly successful in his post Rockets NBA life?
sorry, he's not just playing golf and living on his cash.

he's out doing TNT, speaking at events for corporations like Google or Yahoo, making TV shows with Jamie Foxx, throwing parties, doing basketball camps for kids.

    Go Kenny!

People thought Ice Cube sold out when he started directing movies etc.

I'm sorry, but Kenny Smith was never good enough to deserve his own thread. He wasn't that good, I watched him get blown by on defense on a regular basis while the Dream had to cover. He was part of two championship teams, but by no means was he a central cog, on top of that look at his numbers in the Finals, I'd hardly start a thread much less give him props for that. The only thing he gets remembered for is the three pointers he made against the Magic, but we only won that game because what's his name couldn't hit four free throws in a row. When he was first with the Rockets he couldn't keep his starting spot against Sleepy Floyd and that dude wasn't very good. I wouldn't say he was any better than Rafer is now.

Do you have some gay manlove for this guy or something?

obviously you didn't read any of the articles i've posted or watched any of the other Rocket games except NBA Classics vs the Magic.

Also, any educated Rocket fan knows that the team was built on individual talent, it was built on HEART.

Yeah, WRONG AGAIN FAKE ROCKETS FAN, Kenny BEAT OUT Sleepy Floyd and became the starter for SIX YEARS.

are you kidding? I've watched the rockets since 85' and saw Kenny sit on his but while Sleepy was playing, it wasn't until they finally cut Sleepy because he was old dude. You don't have a clue. I also watched Kenny sit on his but while Sam Cassel, a rookie, finish out a game. Please, you must be gay to think Kenny was ever that good.

i guess you just like to remember Kenny in his later years with the Rockets, when he was so horrible when we won 2 championships.

Have a clue? How many championships did we win with Sleepy Floyd?

Oh, who knocked down all those shots against the Utah Jazz? Phoenix? Orlando?
    Sleepy?

Yeah old Kenny Smith wasn't as good as Sam Cassell (an ALL STAR). But he stepped up when he was asked to. Game 7 against the Knicks. Derek Harper was there too.
