    He means no one around the world cares about football and besides, regular tackle football in the Olympics would be 10 times the slaughter of the US-Nigeria game against the worst countries.

    Only flag or 7-on-7 football with no pads would be viable for the Olympics.

    It's too early to know who will be on the team yet because a lot can change in four years. No onw would have predicted, for example, Anthony Davis would be on this team after Bejing and definitely not Igloudala.

    Yup, Wade isn't going to play. He's trying to stay as healthy as possible to further his legacy in the NBA.

    Same thing for that guy Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain (late in his career), Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Michael Jordan the second time around.

    yes. i just was not sure which of the two footballs he meant, football and Olympics is a contentious issue with both.

    Maybe for other countries, but not if you play for USA. The more difficult prize is always the better one.

    Spain didn't have **** on the U.S. that game. Flailing and flopping, also trying to create dirty plays to see if we would break. Nice try Spain, you aren't on the level of Team USA.
