Robinson and D. Ryans, how many of these players are NFL quality players?

Maybe so, maybe not. Just making the playoffs only to be 1st round fodder won't be very satisfactory - they still have to prove that they can legitimately compete in the West. But if you look at all of the IFs that have to go right for the Rockets to even make the playoffs, you simply can't have all that good a feeling about their propects. And don't forget, unlike with the Texans, the previous inept regime is still in control calling the shots over at the TC. As bad as things look right now for the Texans, at least the hiring of Kubiak gives us some hope for the future. Can you imagine how bad it would be if Dom & his merry band was still running things?
which is exactly why i think they will make the playoffs. jvg has made the playoffs 2 of the 3 previous seasons with us and last year was a fluke because of injuries. i can definitely feel positive about them making the playoffs with just tmac, battier and yao and 2 other scrubs. now advancing in the playoffs is where i question this team. there are more ifs with the astros then there are with the rockets, imo i was just referring to the post of us possibly having a bad season.
I already made reference to this, but I along with most of the rest of this panel is sick of losing. Apparently, the D doesnt care. Sh*t at least put up a fight. When the 'Skins called a run play on 3rd and 12 they signaled they have no respect for our sorry ass defense. Why should they? They're f**king pathetic! I mean did they even bother to f**king practice? What were we smoking when we actually thought Travis Johnson was #1 draft pick 2 years ago. He has shown absolutely NOTHING! NOT A F**KING THING !!! He has no speed and surprise has no strength to fight off blockers either. Once again, more lowered expectations courtesy of the Texans organization.

You had better save this phrase for the Rockets season as well. If they don't sign Bonzi, their guards are an accident waiting to happen. Alston and "what's his name," very shakey. As for the Texans, they can only get better. It is impossible to get worse. It looks like a long, long, long series of very, very, very baaaaaaad personnel decisions. Dom is probably saying, "now you see who I had to work with, think you can do better, go for it." Of course, he probably made many of those decisions. Before the season, I posted that the Texans didn't have enough talent to win more than 4 or 5 games. One poster, I wish I could remember his name, went wild. He detailed all the personnel changes and said I was an idiot. If you are still out there, I am lowering my estimate of wins.
Hmmmm, we lost again. Ho-hum...oh well. I'm trying my best to actually care about this team but nothing is working. I'm lost on how I could care less what the Texans do, even though I would backhand someone's grandma for dissing my Rockets.
