This is EXACTLY how I feel. I don't wanna hear about next week. I don't wanna hear excuses about the competition we were playing...or anything else. This team is a freaking joke. This defense...wow...I can't even call it a defense. Calling it a defense assumes that at some point it defends. It doesn't. The offense...yeah, they scored a whole 15 points this game! Wooo hoooooo!!!! See the silver lining??? look really close and you'll see it!!! NO YOU WON'T!!!!!! The whole thing sucks.

Somebody please let me know when it's politically correct to criticize our #1 overall pick.

My picking Samardjia is a parody on how poorly the Texans orginization is run. I know full well that Samardjia is not top 20 material. Unfortunatley, I doubt the Texans know this.

LOL. I am loving this. Another pathetic showing by the Texans defense. And another 2 tackle performance by #1 bust Mario Williams.

Way to go inept Texans' management.

Question: If our defense is suck azz, why not be suck azz WHILE having Reggie on offense?

Not sure if Mcnair is to blame, but I want to know what drugs they are on

Right now, no more "smoke and mirrors". No more if and buts, we got our ASS handed to us, courtesy of Mr. Clinton "f**k me up the ass with no vaseline" Portis.

To all you naysayers out there, I bow to your superior intellect unfortunately. This defense is the WORST in the NFL. Sh*t, Brunell looked like an Pro Bowler today. Does this defense have ANY pride? Can they pretend to care?

Way to play defense, Texans. Travis Johnson right now is a bigger joke than Mario but hey it's close to a draw who draws the greater marks for futility.

How do the Texans management expect the fans to continue to watch train wrecks like this?

If we dont win next week, the Texans will be at least 0-6 before they accidentally win one.

What an absolutely embarrassing excuse for a football game!

Exactly, not sure what you guys were looking at. The ball was clearly clutched in his hand until his elbow hit the ground. It was painfully obvious.

what's amazing is....i really didn't think the Texans would be any good. i really thought they'd struggle. i really thought they had a legit shot at starting out this season 0-4.

AND I'M STILL UPSET ABOUT IT!!! because it's one thing to lose a game. it's one thing to lose a few games. IT'S ANOTHER TO NOT BE IN ANY GAME YOU FREAKING PLAY!!!!! freaking sucks.

and as my wife said: WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE ANYWAY?????

think the Texans would drive the field...score...and then come out and stop them the next time out????

seriously...this is all a sick joke, right?

The defense will take ages to fix, I think they should just go all out with the offense for now. They are almost there, draft or get a QB through FA and go for a RB. Unfortunately they blew their first chance with that RB this past draft.

At least you can compete and be in many shoot out games. It will be the same plan that the Arizona Cardinals are doing now and what The Colts did.

Mark Brunell, 22 completions in a row. Can I call it or what?

i was thinking about this today. if you had more firepower on the offensive side of the ball, would it at least make the game more watchable?

i don't know....if their defense could stop anyone at all, it would make games more interesting because they wouldn't have to score as many points to at least be in the game.

still waiting for a game where we lose by less than 2 touchdowns!!

the whole "ages to fix" thing is what scares me most. like jeff said, you get the sense it will take years to turn this thing around. wow. we've already had 4 years.

No arguments here. I tried to look at positives from the first couple of weeks, but there isnt one G.D. thing about this game that was a positive. Not one. We cant run, sustain a drive to save our ass and then we cant stop anyone on third f**king down. I mean 3rd down and 12, they run it and surprise! they get another first f**king down. Then, for icing on the cake DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO F**KING TACKLE? Jesus f**king Christ! I'm out of adjectives here.

    1. I can't beleive some of you thought we were gonna beat the redskins, we are awful and they are a good team. Even tho they are 0-2 theay are a good team. Portis is badass, and he isn't even healthy. Brunell is a good quarterback, very accurate.

    2. Our defense is awful, and so is Mario Williams. I think Mario hurts us more than he helps us. Time to bench him and see what else someone can do. Our secondary is awful, haven't seen on this bad in awhile. But if our Defensive ends (cough mario williams) could put some pressure on the QB then it would take some pressure off our secondary. IMO it all starts with our defensive line, two horrible picks, travis johnson and mario williams. Get them both off the field!

    3. We will be lucky to win 2 games this year. Hopefully we can get Adrian Peterson next year.

    4. Nick talked too soon once again and jinxed us.

Matt Jackson actually made a really good point. He said that, if the Texans were this bad on defense and even if they were below average on offense, they still would not be getting this kind of heat from the fans had they made the obvious and seemingly correct choice in taking Reggie Bush.

At least then we would be able to see some legitimate progress from was a real weapon on the offensive side of the ball.

Even if Williams was playing better at this point or even dominating from the D-line, there would still be an outcry because the team is losing. But, with him playing poorly AND the team sucking, it's a perfect storm of sickness.

I have a new word for this year - patheticosity. It's like the perfection of patheticness. It's not a word, but I nominate it as a new one.

totally disagree. we spent the #1 pick on this guy. we live and die with him. what do we have to lose??? we already suck...we're not a team on a playoff run. play the guy...give him as many reps as you possibly can and PRAY that he can become half of what we were told he would be.

but the texans arrogance after they took him...the whole, "if you question us on this, then you know nothing about football" stuff...yeah...they look pretty damn dumb right now.
