Whoever it was....at this point it seems ALL WRONG....we have no defense anyways so we might as well have stacked up the offense

Is this just a guess or did you hear this from somewhere? I've heard the story several times that Kubiak walked into Casserly's office and he said he wanted Mario. Then he called up McNair and told him who they were going to take.

Texans fans better pray they get the first pick in 2007. With all the holes on this team they might parley it multiple picks.

.... or just have the brain trust pick Jeff Samardjia #1.

I think this was EVERYTHING. McNair is like a rookie in his own right. He thinks everyone has to be in camp on time EVERY year. Holdouts are just a reality of the game. They happen. You try to minimize them, but you cannot avoid them forever.

McNair needs to get his head out of his ass and realize that what is important is getting the BEST player and concern yourself with the contractual issues later. PERIOD.

Carr looked OK until that last INT. That was a badly underthrown pass that Carr was trying to slip in there to make a big play. Before bashing Carr about that play, point your finger at yet another stupid-ass play by Travis Johnson which took 6 points off the board. He should be cut BEFORE Monday. As for all of the short passes, Carr had no choice because he (1) had no real running game to keep the Redskins at bay (Texans have the slowest backfield in the league) and (2) had very little time to look for receivers because the O-line was getting manhandled at the point of attack. Washington's O-line ALWAYS created a surge at the point of attack pushing the Texan D-line back on their heels. Not so with the Texans O-line which provided inconsistent protection for Carr all day and was unable to handle the Redskins D-line. They also played like they have NEVER seen a delayed blitz in their lives. This O-line brings back memories of ineptness that stretches back to some of the pitiful Houston Oiler O-lines.

The defense is an absolute joke - a complete and total embarassment. The D-line plays like it's made of paper mache while the linebackers look like they never played football before. The less said about the secondary the better. The entire defense was simply OWNED by Al Saunders and the Redskins today and until they can actually show that they are capable of playing football at the pro level, you can expect to see performances like today for the rest of the season. This team is playing exactly like what they are: a team of losers.

thats what i was thinking. if bush was gonna sit out, let his ass sit out. he'll just get even less money from another team by sitting out the whole year

After what happened this year with the No. 1 pick, do you REALLY want them to screw up another top pick?

I know the Eagles, Skins, and Colts are good teams, but I don't see us beating anybody this year except the Titans at home, and then Browns on the last week of the season.

2-14 with the #1 pick again in the draft.
