Could have spent those millions we gave to Walters on a DB.

And if he throws a TD, its garbage time...

Well, at least his lack of 4th quarter points (as opposed to last week), will deflect the attention away from the defense... again.

yeah cause it only comes out in the 4th when we're down by three touchdowns.

The whole time Orr was running back that fumble recovery, I was thinking "hmmm...this is too easy. Something's gotta go wrong."

    I wasn't even surprised.

In fairness, Casserly left the Redskins in 1997 when Snyder bought them. Their recent woes have been due to Snyder's mismanagement (Steve Spurrier, trying to bring in all those old guys like Bruce Smith that one year)

So you're complaining that they didn't do this earlier? You don't think the Redskins might be covering against the deep pass, since that's probably the only thing that can beat them right now?

The Football IQ on this board is almost as bad as the baseball IQ.

At least AJ has another 100 yard game. I hope he doesn't leave us whenever he becomes a Free Agent. He's the best playmaker on the team by far.

What sucks is the fact that on a team with Andre Johnson and Eric Moulds, we trot out Walter and Sheppard and throw a jump ball.

Not that we were really going to pull off a comeback anyway, but that is just a poor personnel decisions. The coaching has been just as bad as the players this year. This game is worse than the first two.

Our secondary and defense is laughable. CC Brown is a joke in all aspects of the game.

This team does not look any better than last year.

He's also good for 1 fumbled snap per game. He accomplished two today.

Yea, but Casserly had a Super Bowl team (that Gibbs had a huge role in) that slowly deteriorated into nothing.

Gibbs is a huge part of this team's historical success... why the Texans didn't realize that, when they signed up Cass, is beyond me.

If they were going to spend that much money, they should have just given Parcells the GM/coach role that he always wanted (before Dallas finally gave it to him).

haha Mario Williams has been NOTHING!

Casserly is the worst GM in history. Bush would've AT LEAST shored up the running, Ron Dayne your primary back???

Regardless...you cant win a game with a little over 50 rushing yards. Im sure some of you guys cream when Carr messes up but how can you expect to keep it close when the opposing team has FOUR times more rushing yards than you? Bottom line....we have no running game and our D has been terrible. I doubt Peyton Manning could save us.

That was like 15 years ago, that has no bearing on the state of the redskins today. Gibbs retired in 1993, then the redskins core got old and they were rebuilding afterwards - that's what happens in the NFL. It's nonsense of you to suggest that the Redskins of 2006 are trying to "recover" from Casserly in 1994 (especially given the legion of ****-ups that snyder/spurrier et al have had in the interim. And trust me, I think casserly sucks as much as the next guy.

The Williams pick was all Kubiak, but I agree Williams has shown nothing so far. Can't do jack about it now, just have to hope he gets better.

By the way, where is SAM GADO?

He had the longest run of the season last week, on only a few carries, and I haven't seen him more than once or twice today.

I agree it's not all on Carr. This whole team blows, and Carr is just a part of it.
