It's gonna take Kubiak and the coaching staff a few years to purge the mess Capers and Casserly left. Only then will we be able to see if Kubiak is indeed the real deal and the team is improving. Bad thing is, if Kubiak can't get it done; a few years from now will be in the same position and this horrid cycle will continue. This team got so screwed from day one. But at least we have a nice stadium and owner willing to do what it takes to get a winning team.
This week not withstanding, they still haven't fully recovered from that. If they hadn't gotten Joe "football god" Gibbs to come out of retirement, they still might be circling the drain. Hey Travis Johnson with another bonehead penalty that negates a TD... but at least he's Capers/Casserlie's boy.
Ah well. Here's hoping the Miami Dolphins suck badly enough for us to actually be competitive next week.
funny enough, it got the Redskins 31 points, and almost allowed Brunell to set an NFL record. The HR ball has been featured a little too much today... they got the first one, drew the flag on the second one, and by the third one came... Washington was ready.
