Texans have Got to find CREATIVE ways to get Andre and Eric the Ball In all honesty. . . they should utilize the same game plan the Redskins are using Screens, Draws, short passes at least for the next set of downs. . . set a rhythm I would like to see a nice WR Screen Rocket River

I'm looking at Week 8 against Tenessee as a potential "get well" game. The way they've been playing, Daunte will get back on track just like Brunell has today, the Cowboys will run us out of Dallas and Jacksonville, forget about it. 1-6 and well on the way to another 1st pick.
And the Redskins offensive game-plan reflected that expectation... the Texans should be embarrased to get beat by a dink and dunk offense.
at least I have andre on my fantasy team, so my head is intact. I can't believe I got blasted for writing this team looks worse. the only positive is the passing game. edit: and that's with carr still getting sacked although he's had time this game.

Carr has pretty much sucked, but this is ALL on the defense. Right now 26 minutes on the field for the Redskins to only 14 for the Texans. The offense is bad, but the defense is an absolute disaster. This is the 26th ranked offense in the league beating up on us. Brunell is about to set an NFL record for completions in a row. They have over 400 total yards at the beginning of the 4th quarter. What scares me the most is the fact that there are a HUGE number of glaring holes on this team...maybe as many as last year or more. They literally look YEARS away from competing. On offense, they have problems on the offensive line and no running back. They have a marginal quarterback at best. They have decent if not spectacular receivers and tight ends, but they are at least up to starting NFL calliber. On defense, they have no ability to stop the run, rush the passer or defend against the pass. They have apparently no real pass rushers, one very good linebacker and a bunch of average other guys and only one starting quality DB. Their kicker is only average and their punter is not much better. What the hell are they going to do? I get the sense that even Reggie Bush would have sucked on this team. I'd rather line up UH's team out there next week against Miami. Thank God basketball season starts soon.
