It's weird that all you guys in Houston will not be able to watch the game today, but me being out of state, I will be able to watch the Cincinnatti feed on MLB Extra Innings.

I just find it funny that I probably get about 5-10 more games on TV in California than you guys do.

Taveras should be leading off with Everett in the 2 hole.In fact we should see these two penciled in at the top of the lineup for the next 8 - 9 years or so.To wit,Taveras is making it a lot easier for me to forget about Beltran. The Astros appear to be on their way to tailoring the team for Minute Maid. The staff looks strong,we have defense up the middle(with Burke waiting to replace Biggio),and we will have a balanced attack. With Drayton there to make a move around the deadline,if needed,I'd say we WILL contend this year despite the prognostications of so many.

What if you are in Houston and have MLB Extra Innings? Do we get the Ohio feed or is it blackedout?

EDIT: Nevermind, I looked on the MLB site, it's blacked out:

There's gotta be a way for us to watch this game on tv, in houston.

If someone out-of-town that is getting the game seeds the game [as a torrent] that would be great.

Saturday Games are almost always blackout from the past few years or being here at Live...I heard it had to do with the astros tryign to get more people to actually come to the games on saturdays so they don't put it on TV.

Well I was able to catch this game on Extra Innings, and Willy Taveres has really impressed me. He's batting .600 so far and I think he could be the centerfielder we always wanted before Beltran miraculously fell into our laps.

Cleveland owed the Astros Willy Taveras, hopefully Willy can keep this kind of play up so the Astros can say paid in full on that Kenny Lofton loaner.

Hate to say it, but it looks like a sweep might be in place, Oswalt will probably dominate us. :(

Are the Astros only going with 4 starting pitchers??

According to the Hou Chron. Oswalt is pitching tomorrow.

For now they are. The off days have allowed us to go without a 5th pitcher. That streak will unfortunately come to an end soon.

    yep according to the chronicle

clemens and oswalt will draw straws to see who becomes the 5th starter in addition to their current turns in the rotation.

Winning is good, but our lineup order is still goofy.

I hope Garner doesn't think we are winning because of his lopsided lineup and are more winning in spite of it.
