Announcers said it was tightness in his left hamstring. They did not seem overly concerned with it.

Thanks, I'm glad it's nothing serious.

Dotel having to sit out a couple of games is not a bad thing, IMO. Hang him up until the All-Star break.

not a bad idea to rest him until the allstar break. I didn't think about this until yesterday - dotel has pitched in 44 of our 80 plus games.

I think this would be a good time to get some guys like Munro and Stone some reps before the AS Break.

Nice start to tonight's game. Bags just missed a 2-run HR to the opposite field (a good sign that he's not trying to pull everything) Berks follows with a RBI Double, Ensberg then drives in Berks with a bloop single. And Adam Everett HITS A GRAND SLAM!!!! Oh My!!

    6-0 Astros

I think HeyaPartner caught the Grand Slam. The guy that caught it looked just like him.

    EVERETT hit a grand slam?

You know your pitching sucks when you allow Adam Everett to hit a grand salami. Even to the crawford boxes.

The guy that caught the ball was named Robert Grant. I think, that's what I just heard.

I can really see Everett bein an all-star in a few years. You can't get much better D at SS and if he has just decent hitting, that should be enough to get him selected with the lack of SS talent in the NL.

Also, Endsberg is really resemblin Eric Chavez and Troy Glaus; the guy leads a team in HR's that features Berkman, Kent, Bagwell, Hidalgo, that's damn good.

At this point Dontrelle Willis (8-1 1.98 ERA)from the Marlins has to be the odds on choice (at least for rookie pitcher).

It may be a bit premature to ask this, but what kicked this team in the butt? The return of Wagner? If so, I can't wait for Kent to get back.

    Edit: Oswalt, not Wagner.

Just think, Willis could be in the Cubs rotation along with Prior, Wood and Zambrano.

Arkoe, the Reds have been pitching with a 4 man rotation and it's obvious their pitchers are tired and struggling worse than they already were. The astros are one of those teams with the power to capiltalize on bad pitching.
