Not that it was relevant but have we ever done a hit and run under Hinch. Those are thing the Rangers do but we never do. Obviously the lack of contact hitters comes into play but we never do it even when Altuve is batting.

 

No, we seldomely use the hit and run.

 

Yea we don't have the contact hitters to do much hit and run. If we called for that much it wouldn't likely end well

We do have the 3rd most sac bunts in the AL though, so for those who complain about us never using "small ball" (not saying you do, but it does come up) the fact is we play small ball as much as pretty much anyone in the AL outside of Kansas ****ty
