Bourgeious (or however you spell it) hit a sharp groundball to first and Votto threw to third to get Norris out instead of taking the out at first....don't really see that much
Oh, okay... gotcha. I saw that, didn't think much of it for whatever reason. I'm guessing that Norris contributed to it with poor baserunning but I think you're right, doesn't happen often.
Bud at 88 pitches after 6 IP is a good sign, esp. after the CJ error and getting squeezed by the home plate ump.
I can't remember the last time a first baseman has done that thought, shortstops do it all the time Has anybody realized Carlos Lee is out of shape?
Pence is a strong dude. Hits a lot of balls out of parks that few others could do the same with. Choked up and slapping balls out of the zone 400 feet.
does Lee workout? What does he do in the off season? Man, he doesn't even care....I wish the Astros could've waited a little longer and signed a Gym Rat like Holliday
I thought Bud pitched better than his line tonight. I've seen other outings where he's had plenty of scoreless innings but seemed to be getting lucky on hard hit balls. Outside of that 1 tough inning that CJ and the ump contributed to and the 1 bad pitch to Votto, his command was fantastic for the most part and he was using 3 pitches well.
He has a patented workout in Panama called the tamale lift. 50 reps 4 x per week Taco curls the other 3 days.
Dude, just the other day I was thinking about creating a "Where is Landlord Landry?" thread in the Hangout. Good to see you back.
