McCullers absolutely needed to throw more strikes than he ever has to survive in his current state. So far in this first start that's exactly what he's done.
Good results. That inning did not look as good as the 1st 3. Got away with a hung curve to 1st batter and then got a K with 1 strike in the zone to Story.
This is incredible!!! I was thinking earlier before the game started "If lance can ust somehow....someway give us 5 innings" and dude has barely thrown over 50 pitches going into the 6th.
